How is everyone this wet and windy weekend??

Tired, headachey, had a nightmare call with a security techie which went on way too long, had my dentists check up and booked my long overdue smear... well you asked :cattail:

How’s you? Weekend plans?

Well. High anxiety for two days.

But ... on the good news, I’ve joined Pol on the Transatlantic club! :D

What!!!!!

How very very exciting

ps - she better be good to you, xx

pps - you tried meditation for the anxiety? I’m trying to do ten minutes a day (but keep forgetting...)

That is not a good day :(

Hope the weekend improves for you....and in a hurry!

Day with dementia mother in law, so not likely - but probably still considerably better than some.

Have a good un, x

I can only wish you the best as that is heartbreaking for all concerned <sends virtual platonic hugs x 3 to use whenever required>

x

Ha! I’m not much of a hugger but thanks... I shall add to my geeky power up pack to be tapped into when needed in my glorious game of life...

I am 40 days booze free today, which is something to celebrate because I have realised that getting back after a long day with MiL is a major trigger for me desperately wanting a drink to take the edge off. Managing to kick that to the kerb is a major achievement I think (especially since my other half is still drinking and repeatedly asks if I want one...)

Anyway, enough about me - tell me you’ve got something exciting going on...

Errmmm...respectfully blows a raspberry.

Well played re. 40 days and I hope that you will be supported in continuing what you have achieved. (I don't drink either but we all have our reasons etc.)

'Enough about me'.... yeah.... well... sending supportive vibes to augment the geeky power-up back but leaves virtual hugs on side just in case.

To answer your question - nothing exciting unless I go out with the camera and get some good photos is the sky turns stormy (Addendum: I know that taking photographs may not be exciting to most but it floats my boat)

Taking photos is massively exciting! If you get stormy pics, I wanna see! :cattail:

Oh, she is very, very good!

I have books on it ... but keep forgetting. I use music as a form of meditation.

How many times must I remind myself to read the rest of the thread before posting?

Hello Kitty, welcome to our home away from home. :rose:
From your couple posts here, you sound like you will keep Mr. D on his toes.
Please know my little road trip comment was all in jest of course. Was just reminding him that we are very fond of him around here. :cattail:

Hi HISkitty,
Welcome to this crazy, slightly off beat world of ours. Look after MrD or there will be a lot of Londoners getting cross with you and shouting in Cockney rhyming slang

Glad to see you here. :cattail:
I was going to recommend that you check out our little thread.
Would love to see your pics.
