SOTU Polls are out and you won't BELIEVE...

WELL! it just shows you what dumb asses they are. Trump has been saying all this great shit from day one.

The Dems prove themselves to be childish dumbasses every day but they still think sabotage and disruption are what is best for the country. Along with open borders, socialism/communism and reducing the law to mere guidelines.

I'm not at all surprised. It was a very good speech.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party's legislative women attending last night's State of the Union speech looked earily as if they were trying to re-create a scene from one-hundred years ago, when the wives of Ku Kux Klansmen wore their own all-white outfits at public gatherings in the south, back in the days when the Democratic Party politically dominated that region, and the KKK still had political muscle.

And then, today in Richmond, Virginia (the old capital of the Confederacy) party leaders are actually calling for that state's Democrat governor to step down and resign his office after his yearbook page showed a racist photo of a white guy standing next to a Klansman, which the governor now claims has nothing do do with him, despite admitting that he DID dress-up in blackface around that time.

But if the governor resigns, Virginia's Democratic Party Lt. Governor has serious problems of his own, following sexual assault charges being brought against him dating back to 2004, when he allegedly sexually-assaulted a black woman - with the "Me, Too" movement ready to pounce, demanding HIS resignation! And today we learn that Virginia's Attorney General Mark Herring (yes, another Democrat) has admitted that he, too, as a young man wore blackface for a college costume party. What the heck is going on with that state's Democratic Party leadership?

Felt like a botched sales pitch to me, one of the 23%. Rex Tillerson was correct. Trump is a f**king moron. So much to rip on I'm not even going to begin at this point since I'm am obviously in the minority and the 77% might have something valid to support their claims.

Okay, I lied. I have to begin. What the hell was that bs about war, which he wages every single day, with anyone that disagrees with his sophomoric views about factual information (reference: politifact: https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2019/feb/05/fact-checking-state-union-2019/) and investigations which are the foundations of our constitutional checks and balances system? The man obfuscates, humors, cojoles and flat-out lies to pander to his base. He isn't cute, he isn't funny, he isn't smart. He's an f**king moron. And, his attempts at draining the swamp are going to land him in prison stripes when Mueller finishes with his investigations that will be completed regardless of Trump's approved reading and delivery of his speech-writer's bs.

Politifact.com would be more aptly named politipinion.com. their own commentary is just a bunch of uncited meanderings.

He's actually kind of cute or at least good looking. Could use a new hair style. Gotta give you that one.

His hyperbole. His manner. All that is working for him. You can interpret it as lies or bad data but it's just his way of communicating.

And it worked in 2016. It worked during the SOTU and it will work in 2020.

He IS charismatic. You can hate it, but you can't honestly deny it.

Thanks for your uncited opinion.

You're more than welcome.

Here's a cite from politipinion.com:

"Trump initially said his wall would be made of "hardened concrete," as tall as "95 stories" with a "very big, very beautiful door." (He now promotes a see-through barrier of slats.) Trump derided the 2006 fence as too modest during the 2016 campaign — he said it was a "little fence" that could be scaled with a ladder."

No cites for any of that. They comment on what is clearly not intended to be taken in a literal sense and "play act" that it was meant so. They don't actually cite anything there, just say "first he says this and then he says that". But it's all hearsay. It's nothing but a left biased opinion piece with just enough facts or citations added in to "seem" serious. Possibly they've hired the recently laid off opinion spinners at Huff Po and Buzzfeed.

Wasn't hard to find.

I tell you what. It will be made of hardened concrete, and it will be made of rebar and steel.

And, you know, we're building a wall. And it's going to be a great wall. OK? And, by the way, Mexico will pay for it. It's going to be a great wall, because I do -- I know how to build. And it's not going to cost nearly as much as what they are saying for a crummy wall, but this will be a wall with a very big, very beautiful door, because we want the legals to come back into the country.

They have these walls built. They said people go over these walls with a ladder. Do you know how tall the wall is? Like this. It is not a wall. It is a little fence. People put up a ladder that they buy at home depot and they jump and that's the end of it.

Look, I know you aren't that dumb. The site cited (politiwhatever.com) amounts to a blog. It isn't a "real" source of truth. They chose words that Trump said, which were not offered as technical specifications and "debunked" them without actually referencing even the links you posted.

If you work in a tech industry you'll understand that the "big" boss rarely knows (nor cares) about the details. His job is to LEAD and later, to take credit.

Trump is leading. That's his job. For another 6 years, anyway.

What's going on is their KKK and Jim Crow roots are still alive. The fathers of the current leaders were the ones burning crosses and lynching and indoctrinating their sons.

I know buddy, I know. Sorry you're having such a tough time. Have you thought of rage quitting? I know bot did it at least twice because I triggered him so badly.

Haven't you any idea how retarded that looks when you play little games like that?

"I would build a wall like nobody can build a wall," Trump said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network.

"Nobody can build a fence like me," Trump said in the same interview. "I build great buildings all over the world."

---------------------

"I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me, and I’ll build them very inexpensively, I will build a great, great wall on our southern border.

---------------------

"Jeb Bush just talked about my border proposal to build a 'fence.' It's not a fence, Jeb, it's a WALL, and there's a BIG difference!" he said.

The same day, Univision's Jorge Ramos asked Trump how he would build a wall along the entire 1,900-mile border.

"Very easy. I’m a builder," he said.
Sounds like he knows everything about building walls.

You're clearly the expert on Nazis, Dan! Nobody on this forum extols National-Socialism as much as yourself!

That is all true! Let's not forget that Al Gore's own father was a segregationist U.S. Senator representing Tennessee back in the days when Al was still in college! And Bill Clinton's mentor was the famous segregationist U.S. Senator from Arkansas: William J. Fulbright! And who can ever forget that Hillary Clinton's mentor upon entering the U.S. Senate was the former Ku Kux Klan officer (reaching the high rank of 'Exalted Cyclops'): Robert Byrd. Racism comes very naturally to today's Democrats!

phrodeau writes: "Sounds like he knows everything about building walls."

Considerable portions of our current wall/barrier on the Mexican border were funded & built during the Obama presidency. I find it interesting that our current Speaker of the House (Nancy Pelosi) is now calling our nation's first-ever black president "immoral" for ever agreeing to such a thing!

Hate to tell you this but the founders of the KKK and the VAST majority of its members since, is Democrat. Look it up.

I read Box's comment as linking the Dem ladies in white with the KKK. Which is not only funny, but sadly on target.

There's already a meme floating around with KKK hats pasted onto all the gals and it doesn't even look photoshopped.

I am well aware the KKK was begun by Dems during the Reconstruction Era and the Jim Crow laws were all passed by Democrats. From about 1870 through the 1960's, the southern part of the country was known as "The Solid South" because they always voted for Dems, unless they formed their own parties, known as Dixiecrats or some similar name.
