In this picture I am me: I’m wearing my hair up, no makeup, a comfy sweatshirt, a hair tie on my wrist, my scarred neck visible, and an old fashioned in my hand. I am genuinely happy, and I think it shows. Why would I think this isn’t pretty? Why do I think I’m only pretty when I let my hair down, put on makeup, wear “sexy” clothes (or nothing), take things off my delicate wrists, worry about my scar being seen, and... well...
