As for what has made these weeks difficult. Well unfortunately, my girlfriends brother took his own life on New Years Day (wee hours of the morning). So that has been rough. In fact, she has had to stay back home with her parents for the past week. We had the funeral last week, which was so rough... he was just 27 years old, and as I am sure happens a lot in these instances... we never saw it coming. We just were down home for Christmas and everything seemed great.

Then work has been tough too. I am the Retail Manager at my local cinema. The owners also own another cinema in Dublin (it's a very family owned company only 4 cinemas all together). Well apparently I am too good at my job. So now they want me to travel to the other cinema and try and get their retail area in line. It's a lot more stress, and no extra pay.

So mostly... just life, but its been very tough to go through... especially with only my poor cat to lean on. No one around to just share a bed with even.

oh wow, i have been a way a while. thank you all for the kind thoughts. i will start sifting though my thread, though my mailbox is a lost cause lol.

so what has Justa been doing the past 3 months. well absolutely nothing exciting, though maybe some loose success in being an upstanding normal member of society or some shit.

let me see, October. I pretty much gave up all attempts at pretending to be a hip young chick, so my hair has completely faded to a natural color and I haven't worn anything but yoga pants since october. I like my yoga pants. Have still given up on doing my nails as well lol. I don't know maybe someday I will brave trying to test the different products slowly in limited quantities.

My family were spiders for halloween, costumes my son requested and I executed. sorry no sexy shots of boobs attached to 8 legs or any such crap. about all I have are pictures of the kid and a shot of my makeup job.

got a giant inflatable dragon to add to my halloween decor, and yeah, you know I totally put a Santa hat on it and added it to my christmas deor, because I am that neighbor. yup, have several of the star showers too, so my christmas decorating style is what I like to call Christmas Puke (Ya know, christmas came and threw up on my house) But my santa dragon is still fucking spectacular.

made a traditional thanksgiving meal, even required the kid to wear pants at the table. look at me being all fancy and shit.

went back to my bored moms club with our yoga pants, yankee candles, pumpkin spice, instantpots, kohl's plush throws, and Targets. A whole hell of a lot of discount shopping was done. Poor Poor Jeff Bezos and the soon to be very rich very single x mrs bezos. (hum wonder what she is up to). I will also admit to being a instantpot trader and preferring my $4 sous vide machine (thanks Jeff). Also, I am not all that big in to Yankee candles either, but yes I did buy a couple from the bed bath and beyond clearance, and yeah some were pumpkin spice.

Anyway much time with my bored moms club, much much money spent, and I got all crafty and pinteresty and shit too. made huge santa bags so I had to wrap virtually nothing. Made an awesome advent calendar from a shoe organizer. Made hubby a craft beer calendar (the boys at ABC liquor were so great and very helpful in my quest to find 25 different unique craft beers. seriously A plus customer service). Kid and I made many christmas cookies, from scratch. cut out sugar cookies, almond spritz cookies, chocolate chip cookies. Made with with my new $10 stand mixer (thanks Jeff). of course, I ate most of them before christmas, so we made more.

Bored moms club got a ton of free luggage (thanks Jeff), of course then our luggage arrives and we all realize that we have know idea how we could actually use luggage. I mean sure, one or two pieces we could use to pack away the fancy clothes that we never wear in the back of the closet, but then what. so if your social media buy sell and trade groups got flooded with luggage, yup bored mom's club. Lord and Taylor has some awesome coupon stacking, so free flannel pajamas all around, bored moms everywhere wearing boring but warm designer flannel pajama's.

Bought a cricut for hubby to give to me for christmas, so I have been having fun cutting and vinyling all things. new year's kid and I made many different donuts from scratch. deep frying fattening sugar loaded food, yum. kid was in bed by 8, hubby by 10. I finished the first bottle of wine I have had in 3 months while watching the ball drop on tv, and cutting vinyl to vinyl all things. used vinyl as a stencil to use a dremel to etch a pretty design in that bottle for really no reason at all.

So yeah, I guess my holidays boil down to, for christmas I got a cricut and I got fat lol.

Today, I am sitting at work in my yoga pants, my big baggy sweater, canvas ballet shoes, my normal hair and accessories devoid of all color, sober, talking with my bored moms club about how good the 90% target clearance was, why Trump is a giant douche today, how improvements is 70% off, walmart legos are 50% off, walgreens and cvs christmas has hit 75% off, theorizing when barnes and noble $2 day will be, laughing with a bored mom who is so bored, she has made a box decorated with penis drawings in the middle off her office and installed a speaker into the aforementioned box, so her penis box is now blast Rammstein in the middle of her office (cube farm), while another bored mom in an office elsewhere in the united states as just set up an dome tent in the middle of her office (also really a cube farm) and is hiding in the aforementioned tent, while i am drinking my peppermint mocha coffee (pumpkin spice is out), looking if I can find a good way to use $70 off $300, 20% off, on top of bed bath and beyonds clearance, and seeing the disposable plastic lid to the fruit plate in our office, and get all excited thinking hey I can use the cricut to cut that into ornate bugs and shit, then the kid and I can color them, then I can bake them, ya know shrinky dinks.

so yeah, I sit here 40, old, boring, fat, plain, sober, "normal", broke , and the because excitement this week is a strange woman's penis music box and garbage I can decorate. yippie adulting.

so yeah, I thought i'd stop in. boy, this place does really draw in the "in" crowd, doesn't it, lol.

(always love more power) basically it can succeed in cutting non approved materials where the similar price point machines fail. of course it may require more passes. down side is the only stand alone software is for IOS, meaning with windows or android, you must have an active internet connection. that is not a problem for me, get could be a deal breaker for some.

and honestly, the cricut bundles can be overpriced, and their vinyl isn't the best. permanent vinyl I like oracal 651, removable vinyl, eh what ever, heat transfer, siser is my fav so far.

look at what is in the bundle, and do you actually want or need it. like scissors, tweezers, probes, portable cutter, i mean like I have all the tools. not really in to window clings. for sure need the deep cut blade and housing.

anyway joann's has the machine for sale for $149. they always excluded coupons, but google express does not. I went with a 20% app coupon max $30 off, and ordered it there. so $119. then craft-e-corner often has some really good sale items (website search sucks big donkey balls though). but like 8 sheets of oracal for $1, so that would be like getting 8 rolls for $4 if you buy quantity. anyway then look for the items from the bundle you actually think you will need, and things you think you want until you hit $49 (to get free shipping) so you will likely end up with a larger better bundle for $170.

now if you only want to get paper and vinyl, the silhouette often comes up cheap on woot. but if you might want to cut chipboard, plastic, fabric, balsa wood. the explore is the best choice in that price point. it is not approved for wood, and only light chipboard and plastic, but yes it has succeeded on much more than it is rated for, and people trying the same things with the silhouette fail. again, twice the power (but the maker is 10 times the power of the explore, so if you want to cut a lot of wood and fabric, you need to step up)

i am sorry, yeah it frequently happens around the holidays. tough time. the last few suicides in my family have also been december and january. though women tend to be better about it. like they make sure to have their end of life plans finalized and covered. pick a method and place to cause the least impact and clean up. men think of none of this stuff and half the time use a gun, don't even step outside. but the women planning method, often means if you look back, you see you did see it coming, just didn't connect it

hehe. so you take a fruit rollup and fold it in half diagonal, so you have a triangle. poke a tiny hole through each point of a triangle. tie a piece of rope licorice to one point, and loop the end of the other side of the rope. tie another piece of rope to another point. the rope with the loop is the bottom point. hold the triangle upfront, run the other point's rope around the back, through the loop of the other rope, then tie it to the hole on the point on the other side. and bang, home made edible panties. you have to assemble the final parts on as the rope is too delicate to pull up and down.

and honestly, the cricut bundles can be overpriced, and their vinyl isn't the best. permanent vinyl I like oracal 651, removable vinyl, eh what ever, heat transfer, siser is my fav so far.

look at what is in the bundle, and do you actually want or need it. like scissors, tweezers, probes, portable cutter, i mean like I have all the tools. not really in to window clings. for sure need the deep cut blade and housing.

anyway joann's has the machine for sale for $149. they always excluded coupons, but google express does not. I went with a 20% app coupon max $30 off, and ordered it there. so $119. then craft-e-corner often has some really good sale items (website search sucks big donkey balls though). but like 8 sheets of oracal for $1, so that would be like getting 8 rolls for $4 if you buy quantity. anyway then look for the items from the bundle you actually think you will need, and things you think you want until you hit $49 (to get free shipping) so you will likely end up with a larger better bundle for $170.

now if you only want to get paper and vinyl, the silhouette often comes up cheap on woot. but if you might want to cut chipboard, plastic, fabric, balsa wood. the explore is the best choice in that price point. it is not approved for wood, and only light chipboard and plastic, but yes it has succeeded on much more than it is rated for, and people trying the same things with the silhouette fail. again, twice the power (but the maker is 10 times the power of the explore, so if you want to cut a lot of wood and fabric, you need to step up)

We picked up a Cricut explore air Christmas last year and have been using it for a variety of things. My wife is a seamstress, so the obvious thing was heat transfer. But then we started using it to make stencils for Glass etching. I work at a print shop, so I have access to tons of scrap vinyl. Makes for great stencils, and all we end up paying for is the armour etch, and whatever glassware we are etching.

Done up some mirrors with cute quotes. Some drinking glasses, wine glasses, etc. It's been really fun!

Also, we did up a decal for our car, because why not. "Runs on cute" with a little cat cutout.. it's right on our gas tank

Oracal 651 is decent, especially for the price. I mostly work with 3M products at work, but we have some oracal. Also have ordered some for home


I completely get you on the whole, "this is a sex site, have to go elsewhere for meaningful conversation". It didn't use to be the case but now, every thread I try to start real conversation dies instantly. It's a shame really.
