Fantasies - old/young

I've read of some surprise that men enjoy older women, the stereotype being that men like younger women. A real man likes the 'woman' in all women. There is such magic in that space between man and woman. And there is special magic in a combination of younger man/older woman or older man/younger woman. The key ingredient being 'discovery'. Naturally this message has recieved a number of denials. I have been thinking about it for a while, because I don't want it to be true either.

The closest thing I can think of to an 'overarching' principle is that to reproduce, a man is only required for about 15 minutes whereas a woman is required for (an absolute minimum of) nine months.

This doesn't mean men have it better, because the result is that we are hugely redundant. It is easy to call a man shallow for investing all his income in a sporty car, but if SOMETHING doesnt get him closer to achieving his 15 minutes of fame, it doesn't matter if he is great with kids because he will never be a father.

So it is not control and domination that is fundumental, it is that problem getting to first base, and male fantasies are often about a senario where this problem is nonexistant.

This helps explain fantacies of:

Multiple partners,
super sexed partner,
and any other example of fast easy sex.

Men certainly can want intimacy but I think this is most likely to appear when sex is neither so hard that it is the primary concern or so available that their best bet is to sleep with as many women as possible.
