I have no desire to diminish what you've said here, and I do understand and agree with you. But for understanding's sake, for my own sake, I must add this:

One of the most common effects (or affects, in a sense) of childhood sexual abuse is that in adulthood the person may have a great deal of difficulty staying focused on the person they're with during sex. It has to do with trust, and the difficulties of intimacy. One of the things I do to combat this is try to stay deeply focused on what I'm doing (doing literally—with my tongue or whatever) and how the person is responding.
