You're not as familiar with our woods as you think. There is no jackpine in the Susitna Valley. We do have a lot of birch though. And I've got a couple cord of birch rounds, 16 to 20 inches in diameter and 16 to 17 inches long to split up. You're welcome to pop up, split a pallet load or two and tell me how easy I have it.

I have a 27 ton Troybilt splitter. I also have a maul but I prefer the gas powered splitter for my workouts
We got an electric one...works amazing..like really surprising

We need a small inexpensive generator so I can take the electric chainsaw to the woods. Honda made a nice one but I cant find it now
I had an electric one once but it was a built by am engineer who passed away and idkwhere he got half the stuff from.. I still have it but it’s not running
The basic hydraulic system was from a garbage compactor lol
