LOL. As if Comey has the ability to tell Congress anything. The committee merely has to subpoena him and he either shows up or gets found to be in contempt. His only choice is to plead the 5th as to things not within his official duties while he was Director of the FBI. As to those things he did while Director, he cannot plead the 5th, only that those things are confidential and cannot be discussed in public.

So, your entire post is pure BS. As usual.

The motion should fail (but it's the DC circuit so who knows what'll happen). Congress has the power to issue subpoenas for any investigative purpose. One of the investigations is into Comey's leaking of materials while FBI Director. Basically, it's an attempt to dodge the coming beat down. Because Comey doesn't have the power to refuse to obey the subpoena so he has to find another way to wiggle out of jeopardy.

Which motion to quash, BTW, isn't what rory boasted/posted about. Comey's attorney filed a motion with the courts to quash the sub P. That's not a "fuck you" to the GOP. rory is known for letting his mouth overrun his ass and this is just another one of those times brought to you by another of his BS posts.

Words have meanings. You used the wrong one when quoting Rory. Pretty simple so I understand if that threw you off.
 
Only someone with a lot to hide or intending to leak just want they want leaked would oppose an open hearing.

The Trump administration and many Republicans in Congress are corrupt and criminal. Some are treasonous. Trumpettes here may pretend otherwise, but I'm sure that's as obvious to them as to anyone else. They aren't fooling anyone.
