Today's erotic audio seem to have very little to do with entertainment and more to listening to poorly recorded grunts and moans of "sex".
Would anyone else listen to a murder / mystery like The Phantom" but with sex added?

I think that might depend upon [a] the quality of the actors, the quality of the recording /techie bits.
And it's not a story; it's now a 'play'.

Yeah, I probably would. I love listening to those old radio dramas on long car trips. As you say, the erotic scenes would need to be more developed than just grunting and squeeking bed springs. Much like those old radio dramas where the characters narrate their own actions ("I'll get the door." "Let me look upstairs." "I should take off my jacket.") any erotic scenes would need sufficient dialogue to convey the action. ("I like the way you suck my dick." "Take me from behind while I bend over your desk." "You unhooked my bra with your teeth."). That kind of play might be a little too distracting to listen to while driving, but it would be entertaining once I reached my destination.

Alright, I finally understand what TxRad means by "plot bunny", because I have a rabid one hopping around here. Has anyone has ever written a play for Lit before? Radio, stage, or otherwise?

I have an idea for one of my favorite old time radio characters. I wonder if he's in the public domain yet. Worth a Google.

Rabid plot bunnies are the best kind. You know you've got it right when they hump your leg. Just a word of warning though, if you get it wrong they have a tendency to gnaw on said leg.

Write it and then see if you can find enough AH's willing to help record it. It might make one hell of a splash in the audio category.

"Al, we both remember when that just wasn't done. But rule changes are rule changes. You gotta go with it. Let's bring in Michele and see what she has to say."

I like to download Lit's audio stories onto my phone and listen to them on plane flights. Definitely speeds up the trip, and if things get hot and heavy leaking out of the earphones, well I might just get to meet my seat neighbour.

Write it and then see if you can find enough AH's willing to help record it. It might make one hell of a splash in the audio category.

I have a reader that I will volunteer to participate in recording. The BEST comment by far I received was sent to me in audio format by a grateful listener. Oh my goodness he has a sexy voice. Beats anything I've heard in the audio category, and he promised to record anything I wrote. Me, I sound like I'm from Joisey.

Sounds like a comedy. Taking the rise out of a Sports programme.
