Let's try to keep the red/blue insults out of this please! Everyone should vote.
In my area, the polls are the most crowded I've ever seen them, even in presidential years. Are you seeing the same?

I dropped my mail in ballot off at the civic center yesterday, There were four cars ahead of me.

The lines to vote were LONG! And this is the midterms!! We have never had ANY lines around here for midterm elections!!

I took three of my friends to the polls, so we could all vote together. The polls were crowded. You're correct. This is an even bigger crowd than in a presidential election.

So you didn't actually mail it in, you dropped it off to where it needed to go?

Yes, it was too late to mail it in. But they have quite a few boxes where you can insert them any time before the balloting closes.

I voted the first time this morning. Taking a break for lunch and will go a second time.

Tonight, after supper, I'll be going a third time before the polls close.

i voted early, had a short wait. there was a constant influx of people while i was there. usually, i can go right in and right out. the only other tome i had to wait in line at my poll was 2012.

while out, i passed 2 other polling places. one of them has the least voter response in the city normally, today the lot was full. and the 3rd place had someone out directing traffic, the lot and all of the street spaces were taken.

A hundred twenty polling locations in Cincinnati, and people still need to drive to them?

I voted last week. My entire county only has a population of under 15,000 people, so the fact that there were about 5 other people there to vote was encouraging.

people in cincinnati drive to the next block. we're so close to the mason-dixon line that all of the white people are afraid they'll be sucked up by a twister and stranded in kentucky. the black people are all afraid they'll be shot by the police. the other minorities all try to pretend that they don't exist. if you see anyone out walking on the street, call the cops.

Voted by mail last week. I have no idea how many registered voters there are in this town, but there are only four voting places. The lines must be crazy. I am not even going to drive into town today, traffic around those polling places will be nuts.

I voted a couple of weeks ago by mail. Tomorrow will tell the tale.

Like all American Citizens I voted. I did notice a lot of people at the poll that I didn't remember being there before in our neighborhood. I miss having a "local" voting place where the people there knew the citizens in the neighborhood and could tell when someone didn't belong. And of course like all Americans who want an honest election, one vote per citizen in the polling area of where that person lives I believe in voter I.D. Just showing it is no problem for anyone and it makes sure you are the person on the list. If you are for one candidate you don't want someone who is not a citizen or doesn't have a right to vote in your area taking your vote away with an illegal one.

Every citizen has a right to choose the person they think is best, not just a person who belongs to a "party" (I once heard a person on TV at a party presidential convention say he would vote for a dog if it was on his party ticket than vote for anyone else. Brain dead and a credit to his nation.)

Don't ever trust "mailers" or "ads" on a person or issue. Exam them with your own eyes and read and study them and find out who is backing who and where the money comes from and what they will really do when in office, not just the "political" car in every garage speech they all give. Americans have a duty and a right to study and elect the person best qualified for the office and to ensure that no politician becomes a life long politician. There are millions of us in this country and we each have a right to hold office and not just a few political families and king pins.

Vote.
