A vigil in Union Square for the Tree of Life synagogue (10/27/18)

Hundreds of people gathered last evening in Union Square to mourn those killed earlier in the day at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh.

Organizers, including Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society and IfNotNow, said that the vigil was held in part "to commit to loving and defending each other against hatred."

Attendees participated in the Havdalah ceremony, lighting braided candles and reciting additional prayers to commemorate the end of the Sabbath, as Gothamist reported.

I saw no evidence of racism in his external or internal policies. Deporting illegals? They broke the law, ffs!
But his inflammatory rhetoric has racist tinges to it ('shithole countries' and so on), and it seems to have emboldened right wing groups.

Leftists aren't angels either, the way they minimise any transgression committed by any Muslim or any person of color, while accusing local Whites of racism over the most ridiculous PC stuff.

Both the extreme right and the extreme left are at fault in the increase in racism and xenophobia in Europe.

They live and work in the Pittsburgh area. They play for the Steelers professional football club who are beloved by the city and fans of Pittsburgh. The players and organization do community work throughout the year.
