Blaming Trump, GOP could backfire for Dems

Democrats are hoping the arrest of alleged political pipe bomber Cesar Sayoc becomes an explosive “October surprise” that propels their voters to the polls and turns the midterm election in their favor.

He’s already being called the “MAGA bomber” and the “Trump bomber” — media characterizations that imply the president is responsible in some way for Sayoc’s actions.

And Democrats have to be careful not to overplay their hand because some voters may find it offensive to try and gain political advantage over a bombing plot.

We already all know the fix is in. Voter suppression and interference are in full force, the MAGA shitholes are out in full force, and I fully expect a bloodbath in favor of the GOP. I expect every governor’s race to go red, I expect the Senate to be about two-thirds red, I expect the GOP to control at least 3/4 of state legislatures, and I expect the GOP to make massive gains in the House. We’re on the cusp of a coup. Soon sites like this one will be outlawed and internet access will be restricted much tighter than in China. All government benefits will be cut off and the poor will be forced to cannibalize each other. The rich will get richer and more powerful and we will all salute Eternal President Trump until the end of time.
