if they were suicidal we could make songs about mommies.
I’m not crazy!
Faux News and Trump have the faithful expecting this ...

Seriously.
The desperation to paint this as anything other than what it is is palpable.
It's an invasion.
suicidal tendancies. punk/metal band from the early 80's.. I saw your mommy... nevermind, my jokes are horrible.
The desperation to paint this as anything other than what it is is palpable.
It's an invasion.
They are waving their own nations flags while burning the US flag.
It's an invasion.
They have openly stated they plan on storming the border in the US just as they did in Mexico.
It's an invasion.
Trump is being a nice guy, he just plans on blocking them. Me? 4 canisters of napalm delivered in low level passes. Oh, the UN would condemn us, maybe even write a stern letter of reprimand. But the message would have been delivered in no uncertain terms.
Meanwhile, in fact based reality, every expert opinion I've read attributes chronic malnutrition in Honduras to poverty, not child abandonment per se.![]()
Hey, I know this restaurant with a roach problem. Maybe you can offer your services.Yep, pure and simple. I like the idea of a couple of squadrons of B-52s spaced in tandem delivering a fifty mile long string of CBU-24 cluster bombs along that highway.![]()
Bullshit.
That's how it works. Immigrants often send money to the families they left behind. Have done for centuries. The logic of the century:
Children in Honduras are dying from malnutrition,
So in order to help them we let in all those fat and burly men.
Hey, I know this restaurant with a roach problem. Maybe you can offer your services.
Even you have to admit the loss of those men to their families back home isn't contributing to the welfare of their wives and children. Now there's some fact based reality for you.
It's not? Let's suppose all the assumptions in your post are true. It's laughable, I know, but let's suppose it. How many billions of dollars are sent from USA to Latin America in the form of remittances? I'll give you a hint. It was a Trump talking point, way back when Cheetolini was talking smack about Mexico paying for a border wall.
Yep, pure and simple. I like the idea of a couple of squadrons of B-52s spaced in tandem delivering a fifty mile long string of CBU-24 cluster bombs along that highway.![]()
. . . and he is considering ending all remittances of illegal aliens as well.

Which raises the question: Why is there so much poverty in Honduras?
Good point.
There are certain things that defy common sense logic when one reads some of the online articles:
"We are so touched by the children who are killed by famine or war in South America and the Middle East... So our proposed solution is for the US and Europe to take in any strong, military aged man who reaches their borders."
From my point of view, I would be more interested in reading about the roles that the US or other Western countries had in creating such humanitarian crises, and how could one devise some sort of plan to target those mostly in need.

Yes! Use air strikes to take out unarmed civilians!
And exactly why would you even begin to jump to that conclusion? Hmmmm?
I think a more productive focus of research would be to answer the question, "Why are so many Central and South American nations governmental and fiscal basket cases?" Or turn the question around and ask, "Why are so few Central and South American nations able to keep their governmental and fiscal shit together?"
You won't find the answer in the United States or Europe.
I'm not saying that it's necessarily true. As I keep saying, I suck in these areas to be able to give an informed opinion.
