I've seen some others making a point that occurred to me too: the hysteria about this caravan is really similar to the Ebola scare right before the last midterm election. Some of you might remember that Ish was one of the leading GB spreaders of nonsense about that too.

Ebola disappeared from the headlines after it served its political purpose, and I predict the same will happen regarding the caravan.

Mike Pence was told by the president of Honduras that the caravan was organized by Left-leaning groups from Honduras, amd funded by Venezuela.

Of course Hernandez's interest is to disavow any personal responsibility regarding the Honduran crisis, so I can easily see how he might like to blame the Honduran Left.

The only 'left-leaning' group in Venezuela that has any money any more is the government so if there's any truth to that rumor the individual (Maduro) is pretty well narrowed down. There are trucks filled with food and water accompanying this caravan. There is video showing the distribution of food and water to the horde as it advances down along highways and roads. i would say from that video this is a highly organized and logistically sound operation. Somebody is organizing and funding it. Our planners should be moving covertly to cripple this logistic train, it's organizers, and it's funding sources.

There is intelligence suggesting this caravan is planning to enter the United States in California where they believe the state of California will side with them and frustrate federal efforts to defend the border there. The President has the legal authority as CinC to declare a national security emergency and authorize the SecDef to declare the border a military zone of operation, define the geographic dimensions of that zone and place it under martial law. Under existing law he can move the military into Mexico to defend that border as well.

In WWII FDR placed all of Hawaii under martial law. He signed Executive Order 9066 which interned Japanese Americans, supporting legislation took one hour of debate in the Senate and thirty minutes in the House. He issued Proclamation No. 2537 which required all German, Italian, and Japanese aliens to register with the the DOJ.

It seems to be such a self-defeating move, because it will likely backfire.

Study the videos carefully, military aged males make up 90% of this caravan and they are marching behind the Honduran flag in many of the videos.
