The West Euros are healthier, better-educated and more job-secure than we are, and yet capitalism thrives, to the point that the EU's collective GDP compares favorably with America's. They even rank pretty near us on the Index of Economic Freedom. And they are all free countries that show no signs whatsoever of being on a slippery slope to Stalinism.

So who do they take in? Those who had both the economic means, and the physical stamina to make the journey? How do you know that they are more at risk than those left behind?
