If she is of child bearing age, then I prefer (generally) white or hispanic. If she isn't then I don't care.
I know, from first hand experience, what it's like to constantly feel "outside" of all the racial groups.
A point I remember noticing when I met this young blond haired blue eyed kid in some public place and apparently even he felt it because he looks over at me eagerly and says "hable espanol?" Me, being blond haired and blue eyed too. To me, it was plain he was hoping to connect with someone like him.
Kids like to feel connected, to feel they belong to some group, during their formative growing years. Socially, they might not get along with others of their hapgroup, yet some part of them deep down thinks, "at least I belong here."
This is not something that liberal pure-bloods will understand (although adopted children might also understand to some degree).
edit *I don't consider anyone 37 to 45 to be child bearing years, contrary to modern medicine.
