So you think you're not anti-female, eh?

Let's say you were given a stick that if you broke within 24 hours would cause each of +99.99% females in the world (at least those over, say, 3 years of age) to:

1. get 2 kg of +99.99% gold (If gold was $50/gr, that'd be $100 000 worth.)
2. get a 20 kg brick of +99.99% silver
3. get a 100 kg slab of +99.99% copper
4. get her physical strength to triple
5. get her IQ to increase by 30 points

The gold, silver, and copper would come out of thin air—no diminution of existing world supplies, and male strength and intelligence would remain.

(Perhaps transwomen would get nothing save the ability to completely transition into females as if they were "cisgendered.")

Would you break that stick?

Why would I care about any of that?
The fact you put raising intelligence in there just shows what you think of women. Why would that scare or bother any normal person? Smarter people would make a better world.

As for your last two sentences, I agree: I'm merely putting out the question. If I understand correctly, female intelligence bothers and/or intimidates some men. Women are at least as intelligent as men; more intelligence likely means more power.

Is the stick made of chocolate?

It could be, but you might want to break it first, otherwise the described effects won't happen.

And what happens to the other 0.01% of the world's female population?

Let's see: ~7.5 Billion world population, divided by ~2, and multiplied by 0.01 = 37,500,000 women you are excluding and denying!

You fucking chauvinistic, discriminating bastard!

And what of those that are below your age threshold? Do you think they will never grow up?

It's worse than that.

Counterfeit gold and silver? Talk about causing a market meltdown, his "plan" of stick-based equality would destroy the whole world.

Decent question, and I'm not sure.

The first might by my aversion to absolutist adjectives—like totally absolutely indisputably.

You mean multiplied by 0.0001—some of the other 99.99% might be charitable.

If a baby-girl makes it to her 3rd birthday, she's likely beaten most of the natal threats to her life and the bonding with her mother means her fortune will be better spent—but I'm pretty much guessing.

If every woman on the planet suddenly gets 2 kg of gold, that's about 7.5 billion kilos. There is about 180 million kilos of mined gold on the planet.

This would increase the amount of gold by a factor of 41,6. It's value would plummet accordingly. So no, it ain't no $100.000.

Same would be true to a lesser of greater extent with the other metals, depending on the current supply.

There would be no immediate demand for more than a tiny fraction of this sudden influx of metal and all those women would be stuck with a pile of ingots with no market for, and no infrastructure to move them.

They don't need 30 points extra intelligence to figure that out.

The extra physical stength would probably help them haul 122 kg of pointless metal out of the way though.

:D:D:D

180 million kilos you say? What's that? 9 million cubic dms? 9000 cubic meters? 30 meter ..., yeah, that sounds right.

I've very vaguely thought of a sci-fi story of a world like ours but where gold was about as commons as, say, copper or nickel. is here One could imagine lamp and headphone cords that resist metal fatigue better, or perhaps better cookery.

I wonder what would happen to places like Wall Street.

The could use it to line the walls of their homes so that the angry lynch mobs can't get in.

A 75% plummet in the world value of all precious metals would hurt EVERYONE. Including the women who have investments in those metals as well as the women whose jobs in industries which require them, and whose sales profits are propped up by the high cost of those metals, when they get laid off.

But you see, this is what happens when someone decides that using a stick is the best way to get people to do what you want them to do.

I don't falt your arithmetic but that would not be the cost. Were gold in that much demand the cost would rise, and mining activity would ramp up to take advantage of the increased payoff. Vines that are currently shutter door at limited production would suddenly become more viable as the value of each ton of lower grade or goes up.

Commodity price and availability are not static.

It still costs to get it out of the ground.

The only thing that would change would be the value of fiat currency with that much gold available as a medium of exchange. Gold is still valuable as an intrinsic metal for any number of reasons.

I would break it over your head.

Not without careful consideration of how the sudden creation of that amount of precious metals would affect the global economy. But probably, just because of the IQ thing -- anything that would raise the average IQ of humanity by 15 points is worth doing. As for physical strength, fine, women's sports will become that much more interesting, and women will be able to fight off rapists and serve in combat roles.

Man, fuck the economic ramifications- I want supergenuises and folks with 3x the strength of normal human people. I'm gonna go with yes.

Idk why we're excluding the babies though. I feel like that's gonna cause some problems in like 20 years. We're gonna have a generation of super-intelligent kindergartners that'll force us to change the school system and then the next generation is gonna look REAL dumb by comparison.

Edit: A lot about this seems shady. Idk why Transladies don't get anything but their transition, either.

Not if their enhanced intelligence is heritable -- which presumably it would be, and by both sexes.

Well for starters, try changing the diaper on someone who is both smarter and stronger than you but has no control over her emotions.

I have tickets to that matchup to sell. Cheap. Now, who wants to buy the You Tube rights?
