Oh fuck it, what is not political in 2018 ?

Kathy Griffin is back.

She is on tour.

Who is Kathy Griffin ?

She is the woman that is
comic. She made the mistake
of taking it for granted
Americans could separate
comedy from terrorism.
It took the Secret Service
to unravel jokes from threats.

Her joke played off of
Trump's joke about
blood coming out
(Megyn Kelly's) "out of her eyes"
"out of her whatever"

Trump's spin doctors changed it to "her nose." They insisted he had said "whenever."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...herever/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.7199b3d78c7b

In response, Kathy Griffin took a Halloween mask of Trump's face, and squirted ketchup in the eyes, ears, and mouth of the Trump mask.

Unfortunately, the photo of the result was horrific, not funny. The joke's appearance gave the impression of a decapitated Trump with Ebola.

Under a supervised position, Kathy Griffin returned to the public sphere on April Fool's Day 2018. The farce, “Make America Great-A-Thon.” It featured the president and his team trying to raise money for projects they can’t get Congress to fund — such as a border wall and porn-star payouts.

http://www.latimes.com/entertainmen...tly-spins-kellyanne-1522854199-htmlstory.html

Kathy Griffin took the role of Kellyanne Conway, and her impression of her was enhanced by the copy of Kellyanne's unforgettable Inauguration day costume, (that was stolen from 1959 The March of the Toy Soldiers against Attila the Hun, children's movie. (joke)

I, myself, am hoping to see Kathy Griffin join Alec Baldwin on SNL as Kellyanne Conway.

Maybe, the Correspondents dinner should have invited Kathy Griffin and Michelle Wolf ?

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is crying her eyes out. The smoke got in her eyes, while she was burning the facts in a trash barrel, along with any semblance of the truth.

She had better get Dr. Ronny to
help her, to wash her smokey eyes.
Not so fast!

House physician Ronny Jackson will not return to his role as the president’s personal physician, according to two senior administration officials.

Sean Conley, a Navy veteran who took over Jackson's responsibilities after his nomination, will remain in the role as Trump's personal doctor.

http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-...-t-return-to-job-as-1525086076-htmlstory.html

(Why are they so afraid to make their names public. Was it another off-the-record, anonymous, "leak" ?)

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/04/29/ronny-jackson-trump-doctor-559529

https://wonkette.com/633248/did-mic...s-a-debased-redneck-motherfucker-or-something

What does Trump have in mind, for Dr. Ronny's new job ? A trip to North Korea ?

Yes, Macron's baby oak tree has been removed from the White House lawn.

The oak originally sprouted at the World War I Battle of Belleau Wood in northern France, where about 2,000 U.S. troops died fighting a German offensive.

It was put in quarantine, like other plants or animals brought into U.S. territory. Just ask the young woman about The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol position on apples!

She was fined $500 for not declaring she was bringing a free apple into the U.S. that she received on her Delta Air Lines flight from Paris.

*sigh*

Love the typos on Monday

Kathy Griffin's recent past and run-in with the Trump enabler machines

This is what she said, when she was asked if she regrets apologizing (for the mask gaffe) and Griffin said she did.

“I mean, I’m not kidding. I’ve performed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Two places Trump has never been and can’t find on a map,” she continued.

"Of course with my connection with the military I thought of literally Daniel Pearl’s mother and so I thought, OK, obviously not very many people literally witnessed that horrendous event but when I thought of her I thought, OK, apologize.

(gsgs comment- Daniel Pearl was working for the Wall Street Journal when he was kidnapped and beheaded in Pakistan in 2002. The murderers made a video of cutting Daniel's throat. When 38-year-old Mr Pearl's throat was cut, the kidnappers' video camera was not running so the act was carried out a second time and on that occasion he was decapitated and his head held aloft. This explains Kathy Griffin's regret over her poorly thought-out joke.)

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...-reveals-who-killed-daniel-pearl-2190340.html

"And then when I found out that I was really just kind of part of the Trump wood chipper which Michelle Wolf is in now and, you know..."

"I didn’t know they had this apparatus (Trump wood chipper, for destroying the good reputations and lives of people, that they consider dissidents.) already set up before my silly picture of a $5 halloween mask and ketchup and (she, Kathy Griffin) wanted to make a statement about what a misogynist he is.” (The connection between the bleeding orifices of the mask, and Trump's vulgar, women- hating use of a women menses, and the meme of a woman that is crazy, unreasonable, and raging with unaccountable anger, against a news desk "girl" on FOX TV.)

Maybe, it would have been a better bet for Kathy Griffin to ask Jim Carrey to paint a Trump portrait. We could have witnessed Trump bleeding of his whatever. (A little hemorrhoid humor.)

(gsgs comment- What is all fun and games on the Trump White House scene, is a malicious motive for Trump to dish out personal punishment, for people in the real world. She was put on the No-Fly List, because Trump had the Department of Justice start an investigation on Kathy. The investigation lasted for two months. As if a comic be suspected of conspiracy to assassinate the president of the United States.”

OTOH, men that sincerely attempted to carry out assasinations against President Obama and hid family, are "good people" to Trump. They voted for him.)

ugghhhh

Comic Michelle Wolf's turn, in the Trump wood chipper

Roy Edroso examines the question-

Why Conservatives Can Crush on Kanye Yet Hate Michelle Wolf ?

Right-wingers’ dedication to free speech depends on who’s the butt of the jokes

Conservatives raging at a comedian who hurt their feelings, as they did, over White House Correspondents’ Dinner entertainer Michelle Wolf last weekend.

Pretty much standard behavior for the folks (Trump enablers) who think everyone else is the snowflake.

Why would members of a white revanchist movement fawn over a black rapper who famously said George W. Bush didn’t care about African Americans?

Not many people use revanchist in everyday conversations.

A very short history lesson: revanche is a French word for revenge, and the idea of revanchism as a political position (and labelled as such) appears to have first arisen in France in the 1870s and became prominent in the 1880s. To explain very briefly, France lost territory (the Alsace-Lorraine) in the Franco-Prussian war (1870-71). A position then developed among some French politicians of focusing attention and resources on the recovery of that territory, to the exclusion of most other aspects of foreign policy. The fixation on the recovery of the Alsace-Lorraine came to dominate, or at least heavily influence, related activities: political and military alliances, overseas colonization efforts, and so on. This became known as revanchism.

Some historians believe that this focus led in part to the alliances that cascaded into World War I, as well as the punitive reparations imposed on Germany after that war.

In American politics, it seems to have developed two slightly distinct uses. The first covers those who seem to be striving for the return of ‘Leave It To Beaver’ America, an all-white, all-christian, all-middle class suburban nation which, in fact, never existed. This is the mild sort of revanchism which Mitt Romney was accused of having in the previous presidential campaign.

Revanchist (and also revanchism) is an unusual word in that use of the root form (revanche) almost doesn’t exist in modern English.

The stronger sort suggests that a politician is revanchist when he (or she) takes a position that seems to have no clearer motive than simply exacting revenge for previous political losses, or for changes in the culture at large which have caused it to deviate from that politician’s perceived “correct” vision. It is “revanche” (and revenge) in the sense that previous losses (in some cases merely perceived losses) are the motive for current policies. To describe this in simpler terms, one could say that revanchism in American politics is the politics of spite: policies are crafted and pursued not for a clear economic or military or political motive, but simply out of revenge. OED concisely refers to this as being “belligerently vengeful.”

https://thebettereditor.wordpress.c...-a-revanchist-post-i-have-nothing-to-reclaim/

gsgs comment- What would lead Kanye to be belligerently vengeful ? Who is the object of his revenge ?

"Yeezy was just saying out loud, in a variety of peculiar ways, that he loved Trump and his dragon energy."

Yeezy (Kanye) West is forty years old.

Later West dropped a track from his — surprise! — upcoming album, a colloquy with T.I. about — also surprise! — West’s love of Trump. “See that’s the problem with this damn nation,” spat West; “all blacks gotta be Democrats, man, we ain’t made it off the plantation.

gsgs comment- O.K. What does this have to do with re-claiming teritory, and petty revenge ?/eng gsgs comment

"No one — well, almost no one — on the right seemed to consider the possibility that West had had that track in the can for some time, and had presaged it with a bunch of pro-Trump tweets not to promote conservatism, but to promote himself."

Edroso observes- Well, almost no one noticed

Someone on the Red State site, noticed

Kanye West Isn’t A ‘Woke’ Conservative…He’s A Master Of Publicity
April 28, 2018

Whether this was a risk that will turn into reward remains to be seen. I suppose it all depends on what his ultimate, personal goals are.

One thing is for sure…Kanye doesn’t love Donald Trump. Kanye doesn’t love saucy black conservative millennials.

Kanye loves Kanye and as long is his name is coming out of your mouth, that’s all that really matters to him.

Proceed accordingly.

Chance tries to explain that his comrade in arms was pointing out that the Democratic party has failed minority

Chance the Rapper apologized Friday for defending his mentor Kanye West’s tweets supporting President Trump earlier in the week

April 27, 2018

Chance tweeted, “Black people don’t have to be democrats.” The backlash was immediate.

Two days later, Chance expressed his regret as celebrities do: by posting screenshots of a lengthy statement written in the iPhone Notes app. He wrote that he considers West to be family and tried to protect him from those critical of the pro-Trump tweets. But West’s words are “being used to discredit my brothers and sisters in the movement,” Chance wrote, “and I can’t sit by and let that happen either.”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ests-pro-trump-tweets/?utm_term=.63db1f6ab7eb

Thanks to gerrymanders and white rage, Republicans have so far been able to hold their majorities just fine without black support, so it’s fair to assume they feel about black votes the way James Baker felt about the votes of Jews. But the conservatives who use the GOP as a host body are more conflicted.

End note-

"So if we learned anything last week, it was that attacking the most powerful people on Earth (Republican Majority holding the White House, and campaign donors, those holding the leashes of lobbyists, Trump enablers) shameful — while sucking up to them is a refreshing expression of independent thought."

https://www.villagevoice.com/2018/04/30/why-conservatives-can-crush-on-kanye-yet-hate-michelle-wolf/

Not many in the minoroty community is willing to sell themselves to someone as horrible as Trump, for a paycheck.

Kanye ?

Kanye is floating a balloon, that will pop. That balloon will crash. The Republicans grasp at what they can get.

When West simply tweets “2024” it may seem like an ongoing gag or provocation, and in all likelihood it is. But in his equating media savvy with leadership, and controversy with noble independence, he’s proven himself a rare equal of the current president — and a reminder of the distorted incentives at the heart of the Trump-dominated media cycle.

Criticism is attention; the harsher the provocation, the harsher the rebuke, and the greater the attention grows. Trump provided a master class in this lesson during the Republican primaries; West has been slowly learning it over the course of his career. Such “independents” are primed to dominate a political climate in which institutional trust is at an all-time low and social media’s algorithmic immediacy lifts the most abrasive voices.

This, then, is the root of West’s affection for his brother in “dragon energy.” Trump’s long track record of noxious statements about minorities doesn’t matter. His frequent bashing of West’s hometown doesn’t matter. The contradiction between the Trump administration’s stated policies and his own lyrical criticisms doesn’t matter. What matters is that they’ve both been tested and forged in the “heat of independent thoughts.” They’ve both ascended to the imperial level of celebrity at which scandal, embarrassment, or criticism from one’s peers can no longer harm them, just add rocket fuel to the fire. Trump has moved fast, and he has broken things, and everyone is watching. For the entrepreneurial Mount Rushmore of “Ford Hughes Jobs Disney” that West reveres, that alone qualifies one for consideration. And in a country where fellow “disruptors” like Mark Cuban and, until recently, Mark Zuckerberg, have been floated as legitimate presidential candidates, West is clearly not alone in his reverence.

NPR gives an analyst an opportunity to speak on Michelle Wolf's night at the 2018 White House Correspondents dinner.

"vulgar, mean-spirited, and down-right nasty"

Are we discussing Trump's attack on everyone he happens to have an issue with, at any given moment ?

Was it Washington Post’s Paul Farhi ?

"The sedate and earnest nature of the event was disrupted by comedian Michelle Wolf, the evening’s entertainer, who predictably went after Trump in a routine that swerved from raunchy to downright nasty. She began by saying, “Like a porn star says when she’s about to have sex with a Trump, let’s get this over with."
-Paul Farhi

Raunchy to downright nasty. Yes, television was tasked with covering Trump's extramarital activities. How do you communicate the facts of Trump's Russian prostitutes, piss activities on a hotel bed, to soothe his hatred, held against President Obama, and affairs with porn stars, without entering a zone that is "raunchy to downright nasty" ?

Stuart Rothenberg
@StuPolitics
Michelle Wolf — and the WHCD — really played into Trump’s hand tonight. Trump is vulgar and mean-spirited, but that doesn’t mean that Wolf needed to be the same

"vulgar, mean-spirited, and down-right nasty"

Jon Ward
@jonward11
I sat there, not laughing and aghast at many of the jokes that took mean spirited personal shots, and knew the routine was a political gift to the Trump admin

gsgs comment- There is some truth, to what Jon Ward has tweeted.

Who invited Sarah Huckabee Sanders to a comedy roast ? Was it a nasty joke on the press, to avenge himself on the WH Correspondent's dinner, after Obama flattened his ego ? Was it a set up, enacted.by a Trump loyalist, within the Correspondent's association ?

How about both ? Either way, Trump had a "I told you so,".moment.

gsgs comment- There is something special, when the Trump spin machine converts Trump's offenses into something harmless and almost normal, and spin a joke with a lie. Michelle Wolf said that Sarah Huckabee Sanders burned Facts, not fat.

According to Republicans, we should not talk about the Fact that Sarah Huckabee Sanders is mean-spirited. She sneers, when the press pleads for information that is vital to their jobs.

Her expression of displeasure and dislike at the joke, is the same expression she wears when facing the press. FFS, she is the one touting lies, as if they were the truth, in the faces of people who a already have a handhold on the truth of the matter. They will never get confirmation from SHS. Sarah Sanders has a tendency, to become very nasty with journalists when they insist on contradicting her script. She continues to feed the same lie until it is beyond a dead horse. The horse rotted and intergrated with the dirt underneath it.

She sold her self-respect for money, position, and political power. Self defence of her ego causes her to treat relatively decent human beings with contempt. They are disgusting to her. Why ?

It reminds me of people that hate their jobs, and hate the people that they are forced to have contact with.

If only the journalists and reporters were silent, when she had to do her chore of telling the press "whatever." It is so unpleasant for her, and it is their fault. (That is O.K. for now. Her daddy is working with others to kill the open media. If everything works out, no Liberal journalist will ever be able to find a job. Republicans will own every facet of the information network.)

She cannot plead a lack of education, and deprivation of to access of information, like the poor sods that believe what Trump preaches.
(yikes! I sometimes unintentionally bump up against the connection to religion- have faith and believe in Trump! Why ? Because my religious leader told me to...eeeeeeeee)
It is pretty much impossible for Sarah H. Sanders to buy into any of the horse barn waste the Republicans are selling. The family she was born into, has politics as its family business. Wool.is not pulled over their eyes.

Unless, it is self hypnosis, due to being in a cult...
double yikes!

Trump uses the word "disgusting," nearly every week.

Perhaps he knows, that what he loves to do, is disgusting...

Village Voice's Lara Zarum speaks up, about the Michelle Wolf jokes, and makes some essential points

gsgs comment-

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman is a journalist. How could she mistake a joke that mentions a cosmetic item, for an attack on Sarah Huckabee Sanders looks ? Why say that her opinion is a fact ?

The opinion makers did, what FOX TV info-tainment does. Shout from the rooftops, then walk the attention-getting statement back, with a nonsensical excuse.

The latest example was the White House twitter announcement that Iran currently having a "robust, clandestine, nuclear weapons program." (April 30, 2018)

The White House quietly edited their statement to change Iran has to Iran had. It looks like “it was just a typo” has the early lead!

The facts-

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu did give a speech today about Iran’s nuclear program, but it was mostly just political theater. It was delivered in English and was little more than a rehash of the long-known fact that Iran had a nuclear bomb program back in the early 2000s. But it was shuttered 15 years ago—and Iran’s uranium enrichment program was shut down after they signed the 2015 nuclear deal with Obama.

https://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/?page=1095&cd=1&ct=clnk&gl=us

FFS, we expect the Trump White House to throw everything it can think of, into the media stream. It serves a purpose for the WH. The barrage provides a smokescreen for items they hope will slide under the radar. But, to have legitimate news sources pull the same trick is beyond disappointing.

Almost all of the media outlets took Michelle Wolf's jokes, as an opportunity to explode in an uproar. They made a big splash with outrage, then quietly walked it back.

They used Michelle Wolf, to add excitement to their "new" shows. They did not seem to have time to discuss all of the key subjects Michelle Wolf brought up.

Michelle Wolf and Lara Zarum noticed, what I had noticed-(I saw the subject discussed on other sites. It was a real WTF moment for me.)

Trump's Justice Department had removed language about the “need for free press” from its manual for federal prosecutors —

https://www.buzzfeed.com/zoetillman...-press-freedom?utm_term=.eg23pZAAR#.gbNrBVllk

The whole circus concerning what words Michelle Wolf used, weighed against the real concerns that were brought up, into the public sight.

"You guys are obsessed with Trump. Did you used to date him? Because you pretend like you hate him, but I think you love him. I think what no one in this room wants to admit is that Trump has helped all of you. He couldn't sell steaks or vodka or water or college or ties or Eric, but he has helped you. He's helped you sell your papers and your books and your TV. You helped create this monster, and now you're profiting off of him."

A little visit in the Time Machine reveals a gem-

5/31/16

One area in which the media—in particular cable news—has unquestionably borked has been in providing candidates equal airtime.

"...according to the New York Times, not a single one of the three major cable news networks (CNN, Fox News, or MSNBC) aired Hillary Clinton’s talk to a workers union in Las Vegas. Instead, they chose to air a live stream of an empty podium in North Dakota where Trump was scheduled to give a speech."

https://theslot.jezebel.com/cable-news-chose-to-air-footage-of-trumps-empty-podium-1779601746

mmmmm! That's responsible network coverage! (No, it is NOT. WTF ?)

The condemnation of Wolf from members of the mainstream media is more than disappointing; it’s despicable. To be fair, I’d be defensive, too, if a comedian swooped into my office and started doing my job better than I ever have. We’ve heard so much talk from the media about responsibility and accountability — those puffed-up slogans and ads in which steely-eyed reporters sternly cross their arms and promise to deliver the truth and nothing but to you, the American public. Wolf was exactly right to point out that the media “helped create this monster and now you’re profiting off of him,” and the backlash from gatekeeper lefty journalists only confirms it. These people wouldn’t recognize the truth if it screeched at them from the podium of a D.C. Hilton.

https://www.villagevoice.com/2018/05/01/michelle-wolf-was-never-going-to-be-polite/

Sarah Huckabee Sanders has resumed using her nasty temper, to defend her lies against journalists and reporters that insist on asking about the truth

April Ryan asked if Giuliani had harmed the president in his Fox News interview and suggested that Sanders had been “blindsided” by the news. Sanders really let her anger fly, snapping, “With all due respect, you don’t know much about me.”

Are they trying to paint the average Republican as more extreme than they are? Are they trying to downplay how opposition to Kavanaugh is becoming mainstream even among moderates and many Republicans? Did their producers just not do their homework?

10:17 AM - Sep 21, 2018

CNN failed to disclose that all of them are heavily involved in Republican politics, either as fundraisers, local activists, or candidates for office.

https://crooksandliars.com/2018/09/cnn-fails-identify-panel-full-gop

Why did they not include Hillary Clinton? Or Diane Feinstein? Or any of the other women who have achieved fame under their husbands' names? This is not a complaint; the women in question have every right to use their husbands' names. I'm just wondering why you single out the women you did.

When a viewer is presented with Republican voters, the viewer's interpretation of voters, does not automatically jump to thinking that the Republican voters that the trusted CNN host has presented them with, are attached to high positions, in the Republican hierarchy.

Why did CNN fail to inform the public, these women were not the people that were similar to their everyday neighbors, that were in main, too busy and overworked, to anything but go to the polls and vote ?

CNN gave Extremist Right Wing Republicans a photo-op and a propaganda session, that was broadcast, nationwide.

Why did CNN allow this farce to take place, without a disclosure of the true nature of the show? Did CNN have a secret agreement with the female propagandists ? Did CNN promise not to disclose their true identities, as Right Wing operatives ?

Not every women is able to parrot Extremist Right Wing talking points, as smoothly and effortlessly. Did they practice, as if it were a play ? Were they given the questions, beforehand, and used the information for the script they would follow ?

The producers of CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 apparently did not want their viewers to know that a panel full of women who they portrayed as everyday, ordinary Republican voters were actually a bunch of GOP operatives

Here's more on that panel from The Hill, where one of the women defended the indefensible on the Kavanaugh allegations: GOP woman on Kavanaugh allegations: 'What boy hasn’t done this in high school?':

The women interviewed by CNN offered multiple defenses for President Trump's pick for the Supreme Court, who has flatly denied Ford's allegations.

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/407927-gop-women-issue-strong-defense-of-kavanaugh

During the lead up to the segment and during the panel discussion afterwards, none of the women were identified as anything other than "Republican voters."

Who are these women ?

Rhonda Rebman-Lopez

The president of PECO International Electric, she is an Alabama native who married Cuban Jorge Lopez and added his last name to her own when she ran for the Florida House in District 115 this year. The district is majority Hispanic, so this was perceived by some as a last-minute ploy to gain votes. Jose Fernandez, her primary opponent, called this "pandering," saying, “only someone truly desperate to win political office would change their name at the last minute to attempt to deceive the voters

Angela Vazquez

Angela Vazquez, a community council member in Miami-Dade County, was the former President of the Women's Republican Club of Miami, Federated. Last year, she brought Roger Stone to a discussion for the committee, singing his praises in this press release.

I don't see the point of this. Are these people complaining that they aren't being recognized as being the elite? And if their views are more extreme than the average Republican, how can they represent their constituency?

"We are not going to allow a last-minute smear campaign destroy a good and decent man who has an unblemished personal record," said a spokeswoman for the group.

The ad, released later Monday, features Louisa Garry, a teacher at a Long Island prep school who testified in support of Kavanaugh during hearings earlier this month.

Kavanaugh classmate and supporter pulls her name from statement disputing allegations against him

Garry does not seem to be withdrawing her support for Kavanaugh entirely, but that she now does not want to "dispute" another classmate’s claims that Kavanaugh drunkenly thrust his penis in a woman's face during a college party, causing her to make unwanted contact as she tried to push him away, seems noteworthy.

In his case, that would probably mean 21 years old.

During the hearing, Rachel Mitchell, the special "female assistant" the GOP called in to prosecute Dr. Blasey's claims and make her feel bad, accidentally did some good work while questioning Brett Kavanaugh. She found a date on his calendar, July 1, when Kavanaugh wrote that he did this:

As soon as Mitchell tried to ask Kavanaugh about this date, Lindsey Graham swooped in for a goddamned eyes-bugging-out-of-his-head temper tantrum, and Mitchell was left to play Scrabble on Facebook the rest of the hearing, her services no longer deemed necessary. (A-S-S-A-U-L-T. Hooray, all seven letters!!!!!)

According to the calendar, on July 1, Kavanaugh went to see "Tobin" so he could do his iron pumping, and then it was time for "skis" at "Timmy's." Though Kavanaugh swore up and down that he never drank during the week and that he was far too busy doing service projects like walking old ladies across the street to the Humane Society so they could cuddle kittens together, it appears that here he was, on a Thursday, having what he acknowledged were BREW-skis. He was going with (Mark) Judge and a host of others. From the transcript:

It's Tim Gaudette, Mark Judge, Tom Kaine, PJ Smyth, Bernie McCarthy, Chris Garrett.

Oh, HUH. According to Christine Blasey Ford's recollection, she went to a gathering at somebody's house that included Judge, Kavanaugh, PJ Smyth, a guy whose name she can't recall, and also her friend Leland Ingham Keyser.

Many Top Donors to “Black Americans for the President’s Agenda” Are, in Fact, Wealthy White People

October19, 2018

On Thursday, Republican Rep. French Hill of Arkansas condemned a racist radio ad running in support of his campaign for re-election.

"This ad was paid for by a political action committee called Black Americans for the President’s Agenda." The PAC titled the ad “Emmitt Till” on its SoundCloud page.

Just what is the group behind the ad?

Black Americans for the President’s Agenda is a PAC based in South Carolina that was registered in February. Its treasurer and co-founder is a conservative activist named Vernon Robinson, who has run unsuccessfully several times to serve in the House of Representatives. When the ad started running earlier this month, Robinson told the right-wing site Populist Media, “This is appropriate payback for the Democrats [sic] behavior during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings.”

. In 2016, the Intercept found that 96 percent of funds for “Black Americans for a Better Future” PAC came from white businessmen, such as billionaire hedge fund manager Robert Mercer.

*tip of the hat to thør, for posting the joke on the fire thread

Crackpots, cranks, kooks, nutcases, and twisted noodles, have found another "someone," to cater to their hunger for conspiracy talk.

* The Left Wing Democrats are getting smeared, as the starters of the California Fires. (FFS, people. Common sense- Of course a train would have depots where people live. California could use some help, with cutting down on the numbers of gas-burning cars.)

(Boston could not function without mass transit, and everyone in each family has cars! We need our rail lines, and our airports, because it is 2018, not 1818.)

Next conspiracy rumor up- Left Wing Democrats smeared- As starters of California Fires. Anti-Fascists are blamed.

Which is the strangest thing to hear, considering this month Trump vaguely threatened "Anti- Fa" with "men of violence, men with guns" (the implication was that Anti-Fa was too wimpy and weak willed to stand up to big, strong, violent Right Wing Extremist men that were macho enough to carry GUNS. (Middle-aged men that punch Democrat women and beat youngsters that talk back to them. Someone please contact Oedipus.) Trump does love his Second Amendment enthusiasts.

Why the fuck would 20something liberal idealists want to burn down places where the most liberal people in the world, live ? Mini-utopias where the wealthy pay the poor lower classes plenty of money to work for them? People that head charities for the unfortunate, and donate their wealth and time to good causes.

WTF ? That conspiracy theory makes no sense.
