How to make series, also out of a already published story

Hi guys,
I am sure the answer is somewhere around here, but the search function does not work for me (it says I need to wait a while before searching, even if I am searching for the first time).

I have a story that I want to publish soon, which is a direct continuation of a story I have written and published some time ago. Ultimately I would like it to show as a series with chapters, like I see a lot of people do around here.
However, I cannot really find how you actually do this on Literotica. Let alone whether this function can also work retroactively on a story that is already published. Could someone please let me know whether it is possible and guide my blind eyes to the right place to learn how to?

A humble thank you in advance!

I assume you are referring to "Intern Wanted." I believe the way to do this is to submit the new story under the title "Intern Wanted Ch. 02" and add a note to the site administrator that this is to be a second chapter of a series. My understanding is your new chapter will be grouped with the old and a series heading will be added.

The Control Panel update that we pushed out today includes some work we have been doing on getting the manual Series management feature ready to testing. That feature is not yet publicly available, but we expect that it will be very soon.

Until then, as SimonDoom said, the only way to create a Lit Series is by using sequential naming. We realize that method isn't always optimum, which is why manual management is in the works.

Thank you. :D

Thank you guys!
I will take a look at it.

Great response from a great community!

As SimonDoom says it’s really easy to do what you want to do. I’ve got a 5 part series BiBi Daniels and I named each chapter with a one word title. But I didn’t do it properly and so the word didn’t show up just the chapter number. So I submitted edits just for the titles with an explanation and now they’re as I wanted. My fault for misunderstanding in the first place.

One thing I can’t understand is when it’s a series why is everything duplicated? Perhaps someone could explain.

Will the new feature work retroactively?
