I think you're showing a bias in assumption.

Basically, I'm happy I'm not the one who has to act on any of this information. I don't want Kavanaugh to be confirmed but that's based on much more than this issue and I won't cheer if this issue is falsely being used to reach the result I prefer.

I don’t think it shows bias at all. I’m saying his denial of even being at the party broadens the amount of people that can place him there, and expose him in a lie. That would be more than he said she said.
 
During his confirmation hearings, Kavanaugh told the Judiciary Committee that he had no knowledge whatsoever of Kozinski’s behavior and was stunned to learn of the misconduct allegations. “When they became public, the first thought I had: No one should be subjected to sexual harassment in the workplace ever, including in the judiciary, especially in the judiciary,” Kavanaugh said under oath during his confirmation hearing, responding to a question from Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii. “When I heard, it was a gut punch. It was a gut punch for me. It was a gut punch for the judiciary. I was shocked, and disappointed, angry, swirl of emotions.”

Hirono asked him to search his records and in a written response, he backed off his certainty, saying only, “I do not remember receiving inappropriate emails of a sexual nature from Judge Kozinski.”

Sanai told The Intercept that at least two federal employees had information to provide the committee about Kavanaugh, including one who spoke directly with Kavanaugh about it. Sanai said that he did not hold Kavanaugh responsible for Kozinski’s behavior, but rather that his claim of ignorance was not credible and could be contradicted by witnesses. Kavanaugh’s credibility has become a central issue in his confirmation, as he has “unequivocally” denied allegations that he sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford when both were in high school.

Apart from interviewing witnesses, Sanai also suggested that the Judiciary Committee “subpoena all intra Court emails and messages between Kavanaugh and Kozinski and all emails to and from Kozinski with links to his website.”

The fact that Kozinski hosted pornography on his website and forced some clerks to view it was one of the exposed behaviors that led to his resignation.

Kavanaugh physically pushed me into a bedroom as I was headed for a bathroom up a short stair well from the living room. They locked the door and played loud music precluding any successful attempt to yell for help.
Kavanaugh was on top of me while laughing with REDACTED, who periodically jumped onto Kavanaugh. They both laughed as Kavanaugh tried to disrobe me in their highly inebriated state. With Kavanaugh's hand over my mouth I feared he may inadvertently kill me.
From across the room a very drunken REDACTED said mixed words to Kavanaugh ranging from "go for it" to "stop."
At one point when REDACTED jumped onto the bed the weight on me was substantial. The pile toppled, and the two scrapped with each other. After a few attempts to get away, I was able to take this opportune moment to get up and run across to a hallway bathroom. I locked the bathroom door behind me. Both loudly stumbled down the stair well at which point other persons at the house were talking with them. I exited the bathroom, ran outside of the house and went home.

CNN this afternoon reported she hadn't named a time/place--her lawyer, interviewed on CNN, said she hadn't. Have you read anything documenting that they were at the same party, giving time and place yet. Maybe this has come out now. You haven't documented it doing so, though, and yet you are assuming the party happened. If you haven't seen documentation on this you showing your bias right there. You are assuming he was at a party that met the specifications without being able to cite a source of such a party. That's a bias popping out.

What's true is that he claimed there was no such event. Yes, if documentation puts them at the same place/time, his defense crumbles. Like so many things, if it did happen, he would have been better to admit it and say he was a minor struggling with sexuality, had been abhorred with what happened, and learned from it. Then, if no one else came forward to cover the last thirty-six years, he would have had a defense of his qualifying principles.

Not that any of us have a vote in this, but put them at the same location/time at least before making assumptions of guilt (which, yes, you are making).

No, I don't want him to get the nomination, but, no, I'm not content with defeating him by any means that can be cooked up.
