The problem
So many young ladies say they would love to find an older man, but, how may are willing to tell a older man they like ? Old man goes around telling young ladies how much he likes them, get’s a not so nice reputation, and very few young ladies around him . Just saying...

Yes, I hear what you're saying. In my case, I've put it off to the fact that I live in such a sexually conservative area. And of course, what some will say is valid—that it's all in how we "tell young ladies how much we like them." But when all that's said and dome, it does feel like there's a disconnect here.
I think on forums like this one, there's an outspoken minority, but still a minority, who like older guys, and so they get to choose from the cream of the crop (say: money— which not only buys the girls things they like, but also buys the guy health, nice cars, to some extent even, good looks). This is to say nothing against the girls; it's just how things tend to go when they're in such a minority.
This is only some of my thoughts on the topic. It's not like I've researched it or anything.

Lots of women on here talk a good game about wanting older men - then you try and start up a conversation and get nothing. I think they read a profile and think - nope - too old and not exciting enough. We generally are old but sure as hell not dead - but sure as hell it seems like we must be.

My significant other is 30 years younger than me, yet finds me not to be boring at all. But then the men around her age she finds to be putting up an act, the kind of act where when the facade comes of, then starts the abuse.
In our case though, we did not meet through any personal ad, we had already known each other for a while. Our first date was taking her kids to the zoo.
