Hey,

Question. I'm technologically challenged. How can I listen to the world cup live or watch it online for free? I have no TV at work. But have a radio and internet. I'm in the USA so like BBC sports 5 live says it won't work in my country. All the other sites need you to pay to watch it streaming. There is no Fox live feed that I can find here. I don't really want to buy a VPN. I don't even know what that is or how it would work anyway.

Any thoughts? Ideas? I'm really trying to watch England tomorrow morning and the next couple of games if they win tomorrow.

Help!

Looks like Australian online SBS radio might work? I'll try that one tomorrow, but generally they have a way of knowing which country you are in and banning it all except for their own country, during games. .

You don't need to buy one. Tunnelbear has a pretty good free demo mode, and it's simple to install.

When you run it, you'll get a little menu with a list of countries. If you want to watch BBC, you select "United Kingdom" and it routes your traffic through a server in the UK, so that when you connect to the BBC site it looks as if you're within the UK. For SBS you'd choose Australia, etc. etc.

Some sites do try to block VPNs, so you might have to try a few broadcasters to find one you can access, but there are plenty out there.

Thanks mate. I was able to watch the first 80 minutes and then had to go to work. Tried SBS but it knew I wasn't in australia. Will try tunnelbear!

Didn't work. Installed tunnel bear app on phone and connected and installed on desk top at work but no website will let me stream the games.

Blah.

Am I the only person in the world that wants to at least listen to the games at work but has no way to do it?
