First let me say, the original NYT opinion piece is fuckin’ stupid. By attempting it, they gave creditibility to “Obama lied too!” Whataboutism. More importantly, there’s no way people from two opposing political agendas are going to agree on a definition of what should qualify as a “lie” for the list and what should be excluded.

That being said, that Hill opinion piece is itself just as spinny and equally unhelpful.

The Politifact infographic interest me more, if only to know what a “tuth” is. I’d love to know the methodology they employeed for collecting and counting candidate statements.

And the snopes article you cited spends most of its words debunking the list of 50 “lies.”
