ICT I'm not as intimidating as everyone keeps assuming I am.
ICT it really hurts my feelings when people stop answering me because they think I'm "out of their league".

I've been impressed with the public outpouring about his death. I LOVED his travel shows as well. he had a sense of humor, obviously intelligent, and always seemed to get behind the touristy scenes on location. I always felt I learned more about the various cultures because of his efforts.

He showcased a lot of humanity, and strife. He came across as cocky, but he was often very humbled on the shows by the simple cooking and giving of those he visited.
He wrote brilliantly.
I’m. So. Sad...but also mad. We all felt we knew him. We thought because so much of him was in his shows and writing that we “got” him. That was his gift.

And his big hands. So gangly. He could smack the brat right out of me.

He had a daughter. Her life is now thinking she wasnt enough to keep him here, and that’s a horrible burden for anyone , especially a child.

Anyway.

IC I complete understand. Dollar Shave Club sent out an email geared towards Father’s Day and I might’ve replied to it and very sarcastically thanked them for reminding me I don’t have a dad this year.
