Glad to hear your traveling companion is settling in. Although that only means that he might start eyeing the door as opposed to hiding under the bed. Don't drop your guard. :)
 
I make it a point to know where the little hairy fucker is when I open the thing.


Most cats I've known who'd rush an exterior door would get outside for three steps, and then Cat Programming would kick in and they'd have to stop and sniff and check to see what they had just rushed into.


That's when you grab them and toss them back inside.


My last dog rushed the door and never slowed down. When he went over the hill, I closed the door. He never came back, so fuck 'em.

So it's obvious vettemen has become rightguide and still continues to stalk my posts and attack my looks, accusing me of being a man. You know, the go to when women dare to put their foot down. I know for a fact that he is vettemen because that was the same behavior he exhibited towards me before his name change.

That's what most immature rightist men do, they attack a woman's looks when they are wounded or challenged. But he is like 70 years old acting like a frat boy. They can't fuck her, so they bash her. I never had a problem with this poster until he started cosigning a certain poster's racial/sexist epithets and continued to bring up tired topics about the former president. He is a truly a sick racist and misogynistic person. I'm sure his rightist bros are going to attack this post but I don't care.
 
There are a few more plants for the garden. I'll wait until the temps drop a bit before planting them.

Nope, you pretty much get to say what you'd like to here. You may not get replies, but I know I won't bash you. Whatever Laurel says is within the rules is the rules. After all, it's really her thread - she just lets us use it.

Went to a workshop this morning, and they fed us pizza afterward. It was pretty good, and a pretty ballsy topic, considering.


Got to the HD dealership afterward and bought another (overpriced) HD tee from the burg where I'm working. Chunky River? Really???

I never realized how immature and hateful MANY Baby Boomer rightist males behaved until I stepped on to this board. Wow, and I thought junior high school GIRLS were catty. They put the junior high school mean girls to shame. :eek: At least preteen girls could blame it on the fluctuating hormones and menarch, what's the excuse for these bozos? Perhaps a dip in testesterone?

I seriously think you could make a little key fob like device that does nothing more than sound like a can opener when you press the button and market as a dog/cat caller.

I don't think Kitteh would be turning down some catfish if offered.

Hello, Dear!!! Sorry that I missed your post yesterday.


I'm going to blame Manu and his hamster-powered server for my oversight. If he'd at least get a good-sized rat, it would work moar gooder.


I've met some nice folks here and have gotten to chat with a few of them. That has been both pleasant and worthwhile.


I think that an afternoon of reading would be a pleasant diversion. There's possibly a nap in there, too.

As you have Kitteh Patrol added to your responsibilities, no apologies are necessary. At least until Sir Manu buys a team of hamsters, or maybe rabbits for the wheel.

My weekends seem to be busier with the longer days and warmer temps. The garden is planted (finally) but we finished up about 9:30 last night. Now, we just wait and see if the seeds have ambitions to greater things.

I am glad you have found positive aspects to the new assignment.

I do my very best to approach these things as adventures and to go into them with no preconceived notions.


I will say a prayer to Allah that your seeds aspire to greatness of fruit-bearing and so on and so forth.

The bride and I spent two nights in Vegas, throwing economic caution to the wind and spending Friday and Saturday night on the Strip (well, the extreme end, at the South Point) and we walked by a bank of slots we called Happy Buddha. The Buddha images were unmistakable and apparently offended no one.
I suppose it's only a matter of time before we see a bank of Jolly Jesus slots, or maybe Christ You're Lucky video poker machines.
Islam-themed gambling machines, I think, and probably farther off into the future.
 
Morning Wat.

Yet another week is upon us. Looking at the weather it appears that I shouldn't plan any vigorous outdoor activity in the afternoons, supposed to hit triple digits tomorrow.
 
Had a nice weekend and got back last night, took care of a few things and crashed for a few hours before work this morning.

I see it's been quiet here while I was gone and troll feeding was limited. Now I'm back and we stir the pot a bit.

First - who cares who Rightguard is, there are alts, alts of alts, and alts denying they are alts at all! I'm starting to think we are all one person with a dissociative identity disorder.

Second - The new Jurassic World movie isn't bad if you like dinos, it made me jump a couple of times and laugh throughout.

Third - where's the bacon? Sheesh, you guys really fell down on the job, no hemis and no bacon. It takes a woman to keep this place jpg'd
