What's for dinner? (bragging and suggestions)

There's a P.F. Chang's at the mall here so a co-worker and I went. Had a pretty good Chicken curry.

Tonight was simple (as they mostly are): large salad and a spiced up hamburger patty with melted cheese...

Pork loin, cheddar rice and sauteed green beans with bacon

quite heavy but well worth it

Hubby is getting the smoker ready for ribs tonight

L:rose:

I swear, sometimes your life sounds too good to be true. (But I hope it is)

I'm going with crackers, cheese, and wine. Lunch was some pretty awesome pasta though

Still flipping a coin since I have yet to take anything out of the freezer but it looks like it will be garlic and rosemary chicken with asparagus and baked potatoes.

Monday is usually salad night. Tonight, I made a tuna, black bean and corn salad and served it on a bed of lettuce. With a bottle of chardonnay.

one of the many ways spam is served..or you can just get an egg mcmuffin with cheese and spam...lol
ahh... well McD's isn't usually on the schedule when I'm over there. I really try not to eat anywhere I can eat on the mainland. And I do like that roasted pig and it's accoutrements! I should have a pit dug in my backyard. :D

Oh and be sure to sample lots of poi and a poke bowl.....lol

"I'm too busy/tired, I can't be arsed to cook"

It only took a few minutes to pull already cooked ground beef and refried beans from the freezer. Once they thawed, I mixed them with homemade taco seasoning and put it in the slow cooker over a layer of enchilada sauce and crushed, stale tortilla chips...added cheese and a few more chips, and more cheese. Cos, you know... cheese.

Then, I made some Spanish rice between whatever else I was doing.

I do believe poi is an acquired taste... lol. Wasn't horrible but I won't seek it out.

But poke... mmmmm....

Don't you dare tell me you hate it!

Poi tastes like Elmer's glue (don't ask how i know) and it's really better probably served as a neutral kind of base for spicier chopped salmon and other things...but i still don't like it and no...I don't like poke either or any other raw fish...
