My niche for this pen name is SuperWriter is incest, but I want to write another genre, like age play. I have a good following under this name though, so should I just continue to write under it ?

If you're writing in a genre that attracts hostile readers (LW in particular), you may consider establishing separate identities to prevent trolls from one genre from targeting the rest of your work.

Note that age-play where people are pretending to be under-age might get rejected here; I'd advise checking what will fly before putting a lot of effort into a story that might not fit the site's requirements.

Age play is a fast reject. Is a hard&fast rule. Kiddies of any sort - membries or alt persons - is not a thing that can get published unless it sneaks past a mod and will get you in trouble when discovered. Don't go there.

Using pseudonyms - if your name is knowed for good writings and has generally good reviews - I'd take advantage of that when branching into nother story types EXCEPT not kiddie stuff nor bestiality (and many consider bestiality to include mythological creatures even though Lit considers it fair (disclaimer - I write dragons&people stories sometimes). )

Peoples is gonna get mad when they finds out is the same peoples wrote it - get their mad over with by saying up front who you is - keep old fans, maybe get new fans, don't offend peoples what think name change is a bad thing.

You can't win but sometimes you can get by with just a few scrapes and bruises.

Yep, age play is a tightrope.

Any roleplay must be written in such a manner that it's impossible to read the scene alone, out of context of the story, and think the roles your characters are playing are real. ( If the roles are in violation of content rules )

Even then, it can get rejected.

You'll want to point out the scene in the "Moderator Notes" section of the submission form, so Laurel gives it more than a casual glance. That way she looks for the context within the scene, rather than knee-jerk rejecting it the moment she sees what looks like underage sex.

If it does get rejected anyway, that's the only consequence. You don't get blackballed or anything.

Honestly, I think age play ( if you can get it through the queue ) would interest enough of your incest readership that going with another pen name would be detrimental. You'd lose your in-place readership on the new story, and lose the crossover reads to your other stories it would generate.

Age Play

Sorry guys, when I say age play, I mean MATURE; a teacher and student or doctor and her young patient

Is can still be questionable if there is ANY implication of a child - even an adult roleplaying a child - in a sexual situation. RP of a child in RL is fine cause all peoples know the peoples involved is adults. To do it in a story that would pass would require lots of exposition that might take some of the thrill away, but is your story and you knows best if it would hurt the story that it was EXPLICIT that the peoples was not childrens.

Not a bad idea if you're writing non con or incest or GM and especially LW, the categories that garner a lot of hate, then want to put something in say Romance.

I never bothered, but sometimes when someone comments on one of few 'sweet' stories I've written with "can't wait to read the rest of your work" I'm like...you might want to rethink that.

Is nother reasons I mostly put in SciFi/Fantasy. the peoples that read those other categories are VICIOUS.

That's straight roleplay, then. Age play is almost always used to pinpoint the specific kink where one of the characters is roleplaying as underage.

You still may need to contextualize the made-up ages of the characters within the scene. Not too difficult, considering the imaginary age difference is likely part of the fun of the roleplay. Make sure the 18+ reference is in there early and prominently within the scene, and you should be golden.

With the imaginary ages being "legal", you won't have to constantly dip back into the well of their real ages throughout the scene.

I still don't see any reason to go with another pen name for this story. There's lots of crossover for age-difference stories with Incest. I think age-difference roleplay will catch enough of them that you don't want to miss out on that established readership.

If you plan to write many more stories that aren't incest, ( especially if you think about delving into GM, LW, etc. ) but wish for that to still be seen as your primary focus, then there's a stronger case for a second pen name to house stories that aren't incest. Based upon this single story idea, I think it would hurt more than help.

Mature and incest often share readership.

Keep the stories in the same profile to build views and reputation.

It’s hard enough for me to keep up with just my one and only profile. That said, I have had no issues posting stories in different categories. The readers that follow me, well, follow me for various reasons I’m sure.
