A very one sided test that would be, where you simply leave all the patients untreated and watched them die. Maybe the answer is to allow more teachers to carry, since there are to date no ill effects, and it may even be the answer to the illness. Or does it scare the crap out of you that there may just be more cases where a mass shooting is stopped by a teacher, and ruining your entire argument?

No kidding. It's not like "teacher fires gun in classroom" returns zero hits on Google. Which in itself isn't an argument against teachers carrying firearms. But OP is monumentally stupid for making the claim he did.

I meant I've always sucked at statistics but the arguments that you're trying to support your idea with are flawed.
As to the suggestion about arming teachers, or militarizing schools: I'm unable to form a clear opinion, it's so complicated. Tragic that it came to this.

Teachers are notoriously unstable creatures to begin with. We're talking about giving guns to people who have taken abuse for decades from the people they are supposed to NOT kill. There is no way that ends well. No way at all.
