What gives Walmart the right to set the age to buy a gun?

If you had to fill that form out at the Police Station instead of a Store, that would solve a lot of problems.

Incorrect, it would be a straw man purchase and a fed felony.

Of the 2 of us, you are the one who didn't understand what he said. And, in typical fashion, now you BS in the hope that you can cover up your ignorance. When you sign the 4473 you state under penalty that YOU are the actual buyer and that you are not buying the firearm for another. Nor can you buy the firearm and immediately transfer it to another (even if that transfer is done through lawful channels and methods).

There was a cop who bought a handgun for his father this way. He went to jail for it.

There is no wiggle room here. What you suggest is ILLEGAL! Not "liable".

Have to say, you are right, the 4473 is in fact stated this way. So the next means that’s legal would be to make a Walmart gun purchase through a gun dealer, just the way Davidson’s does it.. you get a list of sellers and prices, they ship to the dealer of your choice and you actually buy it from the gun dealer!

What is stopping the person from lying? That's what I was saying. Its' not difficult to understand.

What’s the difference between refusing to sell a rifle to a law abiding 20 year old, and refusing to sell a wedding cake to a gay man, in both cases you’re shitting on somebodies rights just because you want to.

Dud(e), even in the big food fight with Bluto playing the Human Zit, nobody got killed.

Cakes don't kill. Guns do.

If somebody decided to limit sales of cell phones to older people based on death caused, an advocacy group would file suit in federal court for age discrimination. Same with alcohol.

It's not the same, vette.
Seriously, instead of just arguing go out there and see what the experts are saying. There are a handful saying what you are but most are certain that Dicks and Walmart are within their rights.
I know some don't like the age limits, I'm only half for them myself but it is HIGHLY unlikely they will be forced to change it back.

128,817 gun dealers in the US, two decide to stop selling AR15s and the left cums in their panties.

See the above. The 4473 requires that you state that YOU are the actual buyer and that you aren't purchasing the firearm for another person. See Box 9a in the following"

So, if there was a box to check that said "I'm NOT going to take this to school and kill a bunch of classmates and teachers", do you think people that plan to do so would be truthful?

There's some pretty neat questions on there...are you a fugitive from justice....ummm..yes...are you an illegal immigrant....ummm..yes...yeah, nobody gonna lie on that form

Like, are you serious...thats all you gotta do to buy a gun there?

Maybe the next UHaul agreement will include a box to check saying you won’t drive it through a crowd of pedestrians. Or when you go to a steakhouse, they fingerprint you and conduct a background check to get a steak knife? Hammers, baseball bats, chain saws... hmmmm

That, and a BGC, fingerprints on file, obtain a purchase permit or conceal carry, etc etc this is just the last step of the few dozen hoops to buy a gun.

Seems a few of our gun grabber friends have a lot to learn about exactly how much effort has been created to buy one already!

Now Kroger has joined the bandwagon. The times they are a-changing.

I might even support elimination of all private retailers handing them and go to an ABC type store some states use for alcohol sales.

Maybe Kroger’s will still offer AK-47’s over in the deli aisle? Wonder if they’ll be moving the ammo to the freezer case?

What would be funny is if all the major food chains just went out of business entirely, and people once again had to hunt for their own food. Liberals would starve and we could simply START OVER!

So you want to go Soviet Socialist on the US weapons industry?

LMFAO!!!!

Best of luck with that.

Never seen a Kroger that sold guns. Maybe regional I guess.
Of course according to OP they are breaking the law.

Kroger owns Fred Meyers. They stopped selling guns after Sandy Hook, but still sells ammo. We are talking Oregon, Washington and Idaho. In Alaska, you could still order a gun through any Freddies...but no more.

We work together better than non-liberals. We will control all the farms...and technology...and you can go back to burning wood and your hunter/gatherer lifestyle. We promise to leave you alone. You have nothing we want or any skills you could contribute.
