Generally, when I'm hosting something, I like to serve appetizers. Even if there is a rather full dinner. We like to chat and drink and such as the dinner gets prepared, the appetizers provide the "center" for that.
They don't have to be fancy, cheese and crackers and wine is often just perfect.

Received......once I got some socks. All black. 3 pack for $10.00 . I was thrilled. Been wearing the same socks for two weeks. It was a welcome change.

When husband was in the Navy when we were dating I would send care packages all the time that included his favorite things (music, books, snacks...etc.). He was at sea for Halloween and I sent trick or treat bags for all his friends
