I looked today at my prayer book given to me by the old Rabbi before he retired. I’ve used it for someone I cannot name and for you Shiva. Get well soon

I've got an unfortunate feeling that I might have given it to her. I've been snotty and coughing all week. I thought I had my anti virus software up to date but I guess some might have gotten through

Oh dear. Well don't pour Nyquil on the computer. I am surprised that, with all the gin you drink, that you caught a cold. I would think all that alcohol would kill off the germs or at least make them too drunk to be bothersome. Nyquil worked better when it had more alcohol in it.

Its 30+ degrees Celsius here most days- what surprises me is that I caught a cold at all!! lol

Colds have nothing to do with weather, they are passed by other people. Someone you know had a cold and you got together with them a couple of weeks ago. Now standing outside in rain and cold will make you miserable and can give you pneumonia, but it won't give you a cold. I always got a cold at Christmas break and summer break. As soon as my body relaxed and let go of the adrenalin kids' germs would sneak in. Some teachers I know spend practically the entire year sick. Now that I don't associate with people, I don't even get colds.

Was a good day today, got some friends looking after a resort over the off season so we went round and had a BBQ with them in the Covered BBQ garden. Good food -good company. nice to be able to BBQ even though its torrential rain

When I lived in California we didn't get much rain, but when it rained it rained hard and cold. But we seldom saw lightning or heard thunder. Now that I am in the mountains, when it rains we almost always get the lightning and rain with it. Thunder tends to make the whole cabin shake.

And not everything went like a human would want it to. There are smells that a gas mask do not filter but SCBAs do. On the bright side I got to be a ninja in a plastic suit. We did what we do, and we did it to perfection. No one will ever know exactly what we did. It's better that way for everyone even the monster in me. Now it's time for me to seek back into the rafters and reflect a bit. But I am close by if I can be of any assistance.
