The Trump Economic Crash...

This is just a correction, giving those with money the opportunity to buy more stocks at a lower price.

But on a high note, good old Donald now has the honor of being president for not just the largest one day drop in history, but the worst week in history. :D

The best time to buy is when blood runs in the streets. Some capitalist pig said that.

AT&T CEO: We don't see the market correction changing our outlook

Randall Stephenson and other CEOs are not too concerned about the stock market correction affecting their businesses in the near term.

The AT&T chairman and CEO on Friday described a dinner conversation he had the night before with a bunch of other business leaders about the recent market swings. "There's a big table," he recalled. "Everybody [was] talking about this market correction." He said someone asked the group: "'How does the correction affect you?'"

"Everybody around the table was saying business is as good as it's been in a long time, Stephenson said in an interview on CNBC's "Squawk Box" from Pebble Beach, California, the site of AT&T Pro-Am golf tournament. "[At AT&T], we've made plans to step up our capital spending next year. It has changed nothing in terms of what we intend to do."

There are more people who own T than there are T CEOs.

People vote with their wallets (or monthly statements).

Fed's Dudley sticks to his outlook, calls the market moves ‘small potatoes’

U.S. stocks have fallen in recent days in part because of the rising prospect that global central banks will be tightening monetary policy, Federal Reserve Bank of New York President William Dudley said.

“Clearly the market is adjusting to the fact that the global economy is growing quite quickly, and as a consequence of that, monetary authorities around the world are either starting to remove accommodation or are thinking about starting to remove accommodation,” Dudley said Thursday in a Bloomberg Television and Radio interview with Kathleen Hays. “So bond yields have moved up, and as bond yields have moved up, that’s put a little bit more pressure on the equity market.”

A Feb. 2 Labor Department report showing the fastest wage growth over the last 12 months of the expansion so far added to the case for tightening, according to Fed officials who have made public comments on the topic this week.

What's consistent about this entire statist/socialist/democratic scam is that EVERY President takes credit for positive economic indicators during his watch, just as EVERY President blames negative economic indicators during his watch on something/someone else...

And it never matters which statist/socialist/democratic flag ANY of those Presidents presides under so ridiculously proudly, their own pathetically partisan and completely obedient butt-kissing lemmings ALWAYS rally under the same statist/socialist/democratic flags, too.

Different statist/socialist/democratic labels...

...exact same statist/socialist/democratic bottle.

But only for statist/socialist/democrats? Not republicans...

:D Perhaps you need to consult a 6th-grade civic class textbook to refresh yourself on the core differences between democratic and republican forms of government, not current political Party labels?

And, just to help the so obviously handicapped, let me rephrase JUST FOR YOU:

Different (Democratic Party / Republican Party) labels...

...exact same statist/socialist/democratic bottle.

BTW: I simply try to OBJECTIVELY observe and commentate on the pathetically partisan, totally politically corrupt statist/socialist/democratic process lemmings like you so obviously much enjoy voting for/supporting/financing.

Me?

Individual liberty is the ONLY politic worth living and dying for - and that's a TOTALLY individual occupation, which naturally precludes it from ever being a collective/statist/socialist/democratic one.

Capiche? Or, do I need to link you to a 3rd-grade civics textbook before you're ready to advance further?

blah blah blah again
REPUBLIC is a form of government that may host varied political and economic systems.

DEMOCRACY is a political system that drives various governmental and economic systems.

SOCIALISM labels a range of economic systems in varied government and political structures.

None of these disparate governmental, political, and economic systems excludes the others. If you can't tell the difference between grapes, groupies, and granite, you should not be on the streets unattended.

China is a non-democratic republic. Is that your preferred model?

He's already blaming Democrats for the wild, over budget, deficit busting spending bill which just passed, and he signed, despite Republicans being in charge.

In 2016, Stephenson received $28,433,716 in total compensation, with a base salary of $1,791,667. In April 2015, Stephenson was named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by Knoyme King, an assistant at AT&T.

I'd feel pretty fucking good too.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

From your linked article...

Unlike most media executives, Stephenson reimburses the company for the incremental cost of his personal use of AT&T’s aircraft. (Time Warner paid $165,625 for Bewkes’ aircraft use in 2015.) The board gave the CEO 133% of his performance share payout after the company hit its financial and three-year stock targets.

Go make me a pathetically partisan, double soy mustard sammich on the Political Board, Blurt Bitch...

...comes instantly to mind.
