Pan, bread (challah it crusty multi-grain, preferably), good cheddar (Dubliner, Cabot), and loads of butter. Tomato if in season. There’s a reason I never have them. So much fat. So good.

cultural? I don't know that I've had to make too many. Moving from the midwest to So Cal when I was younger wasn't the easiest, but there were distractions that made it bearable.

I have the TV on...I like the noise to keep me comfortable and feel safer for some reason - music doesn't do the same for me... And clean! To be comfortable it needs to be clean!
