Falling in love with a stripper

Visited a strip club while out of town this weekend. I've always tried to keep my skepticism when I'm enjoying time in one of these places as I go quite often, but I failed this time around. Met a very beautiful and awesome girl who I spent a lot of time with on that night. It's kind of left me feeling stupid as it should... Just wondering has anyone gone through this before and what are your expieriences?

There was a time when I actually found going to strip places kind of fun. You know, guys night out and all. After a while it sort of started to get to me.

First, most of the guys I was there with were absolute boors and acted in ways they would never act around their wives/gfs or SOs and I found it disturbing at best.

Second, it was damn expensive, cover charge, so many drink minimum (and the drinks were watered down severely).

Third, and probably the biggest point, is that the women there really didn't give a shit about you. Oh sure they were nice, pleasant, attentive and all of those things as long as you had money in your pocket. Otherwise they couldn't care less. I guess it was part of my small town upbringing. The idea that I had to "rent your attention" became depressing at best and repugnant at worst. Needless to say I stopped going to the clubs. It just wasn't me.

Nothing against the ladies who worked in that industry, I knew several over the years away from the club scene who were great people and I thought none the less for them if that was how they made a living.

I just couldn't get past the atmosphere of the club scene itself.

It happens often because they are good at their jobs. I go at times for day drinking but tend to stay away from lap dances and private rooms.

Never feel Stupid, Ever! I used to run the largest Strip Club in the World (YES), here in Vegas, and they are Professionals, they know what they are doing and have an agenda. If you keep the mindset and are happy with what you paid for, You Win, Period. Thats all that matters!

Yup.

But even after that we would have plans for dinner and her clothes fell off before we left.......

Great sex, could not get the relationship going.

I've gone on a run here since this post. Been out of town twice and each time someone has talked me into going. (Self discipline is not a virtue of mine)

The first one was on Dallas and I actually didn't get to involved with any dancers this time. I was more in love with the waitress so that kept me out of the back.

This week I was in Phoenix and got talked into going with a couple co workers. This time I did go back with a dancer and shit got pretty crazy. Def the furthest I've ever been with a dancer... I did not fall in love though like the previous one that started the post. So, I am glad of that.
