One of my favorite cousins died of a heart attack this weekend, the day before his 48th birthday. This year has sucked ass.

there was a dusting of snow last night, and the cats have gone absolutely crazy. the fat one is pissed off i won't let her out for more than 2 minutes, and the little one has just gone psychotic. this is my last day of 2017 entertainment. quite spot on.

We have a new one and have only made mac n cheese and rice in it. Already, I will prolly pitch the rice cooker and maybe the small pressure cooker. The jury is still out. I might make some instant pot chili tonight. Or, the beef will end up on the grill.

My chili is in a normal pot, and the house sure smells great.
I just ordered the instant pot with the rationalization that I have up to now, avoided a rice cooker, and a pressure cooker - so in theory, I'm saving space.
