Does love work over the web?

You see it's no big deal to get someone liking you, but I've always
found I don't feel much until I meet them.

Online affairs, it seems to mean a lot to them but it doesn't mean
so much to me.

Don't get me wrong, I get the same agonies and night sweats as anyone
once I fall in love, but online? It seems too far away and false to get my emotions
in a twist over.

What do you folks think, do online affairs work?

It's less likely not to work than to work, but that seems true of most relationships.

It also depends on what you mean by 'work'. How long does a relationship have to last before it 'works'? Obviously, if it's strictly online/long distance, you're not talking about white picket fences, kids, and death do us part.

What it was, you see, someone nearly got through and I began having feelings.
