You lack an apostrophe Comrade.
Plus, most people no longer find him relevant. He is not a groping Republican.
It's a gruesome parable of violence in America and how the government's endorsement of ruthless killing parallels the vile madness of an incorrigible murderer. William Calley was certainly not the same type of monster that Charles Manson was, but the U.S. government turned him into an equally deranged mercenary capable of murdering innocent people for immoral purposes. And Calley was just one of the millions of young men whose minds have been (and continue to be) corrupted for the purpose of carrying out government agendas.
As for why he wasn't, blame Rose Bird, former CA Supreme Court Justice, who must have really hated the state, because she overturned every death penalty she could. One of my fondest memories is when I and millions of other voters were able to boot her off the bench. I believe this is still the only time any member of the Supreme Court was ever voted off.
But he hated Hollywood liberals! Look, Sharon Tate! Most of the right-wingers here must have applauded that. Sure, he targeted Gerald Ford too, but Ford was only a RINO, right?
Enough of that. I recall an old underground comix by GI/TV (Greg Irons, Tom Veitch), The Legion Of Charlies, extrapolating parallels between Charlie Manson and Charles Calley (Mai Lai massacre scapegoat).

Sounds like a wonderful Justice. You should be ashamed of yourself.
No civilized person or society should engage in barbarism. It should be outlawed worldwide.
At the time, remarks by Pres Nixon nearly freed Manson.

Roman Polanski was never the same after his wife and unborn child were slain.
Should his later problems be imagined as PTSD?
I didn't see your thread when I started mine, sorry.
Manson was from Cincinnati and spend his early life imprisoned back east. He's as Californian as Bugsy Siegel.Just another typical Californian
Citation?Irons and Veitch were idiots.
Guess I should have added an 'irony' emoji, hey? That aside, I really don't think anyone, except maybe for yourself, looks at the Tate/Labianca murders with that sort of partisanship.
