Ward was all for draining the swamp before Trump decided to run for president. She was a leader in the state Senate but she couldn't beat McCain in Maricopa County.

The point for both Flake and Corker is that their constituents see them as being part of the problem. That's why they aren't running for re-election.
I'm not sure Ward can win Arizona, nor am I sure Corker's replacement on the GOP ticket can win. The signal from Republicans in those states, though, is that they are tired of electing candidates who say they are conservative but don't act like it when they get to D.C.
