I saw what looked like excellent nachos at Xalos on Monday. But, they gave me a few corn chips with my burrito. The burrito was very good, but the chips were nasty. You can't make good nachos with nasty chips.

Got hooked on The Magicians while in waiting period for other current shows to finish their weekly cycles. Mad that I was sleeping on this joint this long, it's good stuff. I had seen plenty of ads around town for it during the starts of each season, but hadn't felt compelled to check it out. Thought it was gonna be fairly passable CGI fluff along with midrange cornball drama befitting a typically young and good-looking principal casting. Was not expecting the high intersectional levels of intrigue, gory viciousness and the open sex - although with the caveat of obscured nudity. ;)

Good thing about getting into it now is that I got two and a half seasons to binge on. :D

You can get almost anything from a vending machine in Japan.

My son was in japan last week for the f1 race; his first time, so i briefed him about the dirty panty machines and the quality of fender japan guitars.

Joys of fatherhood.

I did some strategic research for a us based online recipe provider and learned that most americans watch 4 hours per week of cooking shows and less than an hour a week cooking.

Likewise, the more a homeowner spends on kitchen renovations, the less time they spend cooking. Inverse relationship.

When I eat out (even if I'm over at a friends for dinner), I take my own bottle of Sriracha. It's an odd thing, admittedly.
