How did it get to the point that 99% of the "mainstream" media is not just openly biased but openly propagandistic?

Obviously you don't have a real democracy when the information is so controlled and manipulated by one side of the political spectrum.

Why isn't Congress investigating collusion between the media and the Democrat party instead of imaginary "collusion" between the Trump campaign and Russia which wouldn't have been illegal or wrong anyway?

Something needs to be done, this is no longer a democracy if media bias continues to go unchallenged.

One year ago we saw the ultimate raw collusion between the media and the Democrat Party with the Access Hollywood tape release.

Why was Access Hollywood never investigated for collusion with the Clinton campaign and the DNC?

Obviously you do not understand the First Amendment. The media, whether "mainstream" or otherwise likes to pretend they are serving the public by providing raw information unsullied by personal bias. Some reporters and editors actually make a reasonable attempt at doing so.

But objectivity is NOT something the press owes you as a matter of law. Therefore, Congress has NO business investigating "collusion" between a political party and news reporters. None.

George Stephanopoulos went right from a job in the Clinton administration to ABC News. Pat Buchannan, Diane Sawyer and Ben Stein all worked in the Nixon administration. None of these people made these transitions surreptitiously. Everyone is operating within their rights.

The First Amendment was written for the purpose of not merely providing information, but persuading your fellow man to your point of view, and vice-versa.

Stop whining about it.

Oh, and Steve Bannon is back at Breitbart PROUDLY and OPENLY pursuing a media agenda of conservative bias as he has every right to do. Hint. Hint.

biased by facts

It seems the people who are whining the most about the media are the ones who also happen to have a whole set of "alternative facts". Most of the older mainstream media outlets at least try to confirm sources and present stories that are backed up with substantial evidence. In this sense, yes, there is a bias toward presenting facts, as there should be in ethical journalism.

Trump whines all the time about the media being "so unfair", by covering the things that he says and the things that he does. And now he and Bannon want some of the outlets to "shut up". I'm glad these outlets continue to say, "Fuck you! We have a right to report on your idiocy."
