I had to replace our mailbox yesterday. I looks like someone took a baseball bat to it.

It's payday and it's raining. Oh boy. And we have inspections from the city scheduled at work. Work is work, rain or no.


Got some bills paid already. Forget them until next month and use the services without a care. I do remember being broke and juggling which got money and which went without. This is nicer.


It's still staying warm-ish. It must be the damned glowball warming . . . .

Because it is so far away from the house, it's an easy target.

Windows got me with a surprise - a reboot from an update. Missed it entirely. How come them assholes gotta do that shit when I'm awake? Do Mac users suffer the same indignities? I gotta save up and git-me-wun, because I'm about exhausted with PC Mickey Mouse shit, in every sense of the term.

I get update alerts telling me when they are available.


I never do them. The first couple of times I did it caused too many feature changes for my level of comfort. Some things that I really liked went away forever and were replaced tools that I don't like.


The OS is really stable so I stick with, "If it ain't broke..."

No real farms here in the hills. They're all down in flat country...



I cannot rule it out, but again, I would think that it would have also knocked off the mounting board.

I ordered a holster rig for the new weapon. I haven't bought one in years, and I do intend to carry this one a lot. I also looked at some JHPs for it - it's full of hardball now - maybe, and maybe not.We'll see.


It's still warm and humid as sweaty balls. I drove through a torrential downpour coming away from the coastal area. Torrents, I tell you. There was small area flooding to go with it. Not any hydroplaning, however. Real men can drive on wet pavement.


I'm not going to have any leftovers tonight. I'm some kinda hungry, so . . . .
