The housemate is painting her room.

She started it last Thanksgiving.

I'm wondering if she'll finish it by Rosh Hashanah.

Which this year, by the way, will be on the anniversary of my second wedding, the anniversary of the divorce from which will be in July.

How will you serve it?

Is garnish and condiment allowed?

Sometimes, I do a pork loin in the crock pot, then pull it to pieces and slather BBQ sauce on it.

That's some good eatin' . . . .

Three racks of baby backs and a shoulder roast which will be pulled for sandwiches. Homemade rub, Apple juice basting during the smoking, and homemade sauce to finish. Baked some beans and friends are bringing the rest.

I would only require cole slaw to go with that.

Happy Monday!!! Happy Memorial Day, too.

I think that I'll wander over to the national cemetary around the corner and give them a few minutes of contemplation.

After the coffee.

There's also more laundry to be done, and the bed still needs making.

Good to know there's still people who understand what today is all about. Happy Memorial Day to you, Wat.

I'll be getting my truck and equipment ready for my trip into Glacier Thursday. Think I'll visit the Blackfoot Reservation in Browning, Montana before leaving the area. They have a good Plains Indian Museum there I haven't seen. Hoping for good weather.

Thank you, and best wishes to you-n-yours for this holiday.

I have an easy walk to the cemetery. It's two blocks, literally. My half-city half-'burbs neighborhood has aspects of each. The cemetery is more a suburban thing but it's city-close in my case. The grocery store is an annoying mile off - could be walked, but the carry home would suck, and there are no sidewalks, so there's no wheeling it home, either.

Best wishes also for your coming trip. I envy going back to Montana, whether to be a dental floss tycoon or just to visit. It's a visit to America in every sense of the word. I just wanna . . . .

So make the most of it with my blessings, like you needed them.

Even though I have known watt had yossi's picture up I actually was wondering aloud just now how yossi was able to speak so well by picking pictures that were exactly what watt would if yoss could be watt.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I like the people, the history, and the natural beauty of the state. Not to mention the great fishing and hunting there.

I'd love to go back and spend some quality chuck of time.

Like a month.

You know, long enough to get sick of it, if I'm going to.

I'm pretty grateful just for being able to get up there as often as I do. There isn't much of the state I haven't been into at least once, but just the time of day can make each place a diifferent sight to behold. It's amazing what happens when things are viewed in a different light and I've been fortunate to have a lot of light in my life as well.:)
