No Sugar Tonight

The summer between my sophomore and junior years in high school, I scraped together $72 (plus tax) from my first real job and bought an RCA Hialeah, a turntable with detachable speakers. The rig didn't have a headphone jack, so I'd lay on my back on the floor with the speakers on each side of my head.
"No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature" was one of those songs I remember.
I was really into music back then. With no interest in going to college, one of the reasons I joined the Army was to save money and buy a discounted stereo at an audio store on base.
So thanks for the memories.
