They realize the calls for controls on guns will cause consumers to rush to the gun stores to buy guns before they are instituted which will increase production and sales. Simple economics.

Which goes back to a good point, once a black (let's face it, one drop of negroid blood makes you black in America) man assumed office, pansies became afraid that there would be a black uprising against whites and that their poor guns would have been quickly taken from them. Gun sales started to rise.

Believe me, there would have been a bloodbath during Jim Crow, but black Americans have not done that.
