Things like this are very, very dangerous. FYI, Miranda condemned Trump to hell. It could be a big sin to have the audacity to think you can comprehend God's will. He was pretty clear about judging others. You know the thing about the "sliver in your brother's eye vs. the plank in yours".
This is something you simply cannot do."
"...to see thee more clearly;love thee more dearly;follow thee more nearly, day by day."
"Thy will be done."

I'm sorry we couldn't understand your mumbling with Donald's penis lodged down your throat.

If the shoe fits.

Trump's administration's response to Maria has been dismal at best. There is no defense of it. Let alone trying to skewer those who criticize it. Maria happened 11 days ago with at least 3 days forewarning. What did Trump or his administration do to prepare before the fact?

Here is a timeline of the Trump response. He golfed. And had a meeting that barely mentioned Maria but instead focused on the travel ban and the NFL.

Please continue your fellating.

There's no such thing as Hell, so I think Miranda's in the clear.

I guess I don't understand how you could in any way interpret my OP as a defense of President Trump's response to the natural disaster in Puerto Rico.

you keep trying to use this tactic. i don't think it works as well as you clearly think it does.

Well then why are you criticizing someone that is criticizing his response to Maria?

And so strongly.

What if you are?

Ok. I don't think it's good for anyone to have the audacity to understand God's will. It's ludicrous for one human to pronounce God's ultimate judgement upon fellow human. It's all in the vein of "Judge not, lest ye be judged.". I meant it in general terms. It's fine to criticize the President. Proclaiming yourself "holier than thou" is objectionable.
Jesus said it's easier for a camel to pass through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Shit. We're all screwed then, right?
Concerning the existence of Hell: personally, I HOPE I'm wrong.

You assume there's a God. And further you assume that God has a will.

I have the audacity.

Good and Evil are just two sides of a coin. Humanity has the idiocy to assume only one is of value and further that we can tell the difference.

The Greek word plousios, usually translated as "rich man" actually means "well-endowed."

There's no difficulty at all in justifyingly judging Donald trump as a total failure as a human being, Ramone45. That you don't seem to think so doesn't speak well of your grasp on intelligence.

My partner and I were in a café at Tikal with a Gringo evangelisto and his quiet Guatemalan bride some years back, discussing hemispheric politics. He finally got me to admit I agreed with Hugo Chavez that Dubya was satanic and hell-bound. He thought it a victory for his argument.

No, literal versions of Catholic-Protestant-Mormon-Jewish-Sunni-Shi'ite-Roman-Babylonian-Greek-Aztec-Navaho-Buddhist-Shinto-Hindu-Tahitian-Scientologist-Discordian-Vodun hells don't exist in any observable universe, merely within the consciousness of fantasists.

But some folks seem determined to create hells on earth. Tasering them all won't stop them. Will we be overwhelmed by the damned?

God's will did not cause that hurricane or any other natural disasters. He created the heavens and earth and let them go. Man has had the free will to screw with the environment.. Whether you believe man has anything to do with global warming or not, it is warming.. And things are melting.. And things are changing. Imo, it's silly to think we aren't part of the problem.

That's not what Mr. Miranda said. (Lose the personal insults also, sr7plt). You realize your statement is patently ridiculous. I don't like Mr. Trump. I do not think he's doing a good job as President. A total failure as a human being? I don't even know what that means. He's loved by his family and friends. He IS POTUS. I don't think a total failure as a human being could achieve that. But that's all irrelevant. Simply, Jedge not, lest ye be judged.

A total failure as a human being?
Nobody has yet poisoned him so no, he's not a total failure.

Simply, Jedge not, lest ye be judged.
I'll jedge what I can. :D But the logical implication is that nobody should exercise judgment; we should all merely Go With The Flow. Hey, that's almost Buddhist! But humans usually DO judge people, places, events, whatever. Otherwise we die. Yuck.
We learn good judgment from our experiences.
We gain experience from our bad judgments.
We can look at Tromp, at his history and current actions, and judge that he is exceptionally ill-suited for his office, and a miserably immature scumbag. Selah!

With respect to the judgement aspect, of course, we all exercise judgement. What I'm concerned about is a human being declaring that a fellow human's immortal soul is condemned to eternal damnation. That is having the conceit to raise yourself to the level of God, and that is sinful.

God is a job title, not a proper name. Lord {JHWH} is merely one of many.

But I digress. We elevate ourselves to the level of gods with powers of life and death whenever we interact with others -- when we decide not to kill someone richly deserving (in our judgment). Letting them live is a holy act.

Cursing someone to eternal damnation -- well, that's easier than carving new gods but doesn't last as long. Judeo-Xian-Muslim theology is pretty weak on eternity. The timeline is too short. Mayan and Hindu calendars extend much further. Hindu eternity is a LONG time; continual reincarnation gets boring.

As for delaring that someone is damned: That falls into the purview of Jain Sevenfold Logic, which I've expanded to 31-fold. Ask me about it.
