my little one has an electric violin with headphones that plug into it. she can jam out all she wants, and the house is still nice and quiet.

that being said, i really love it when they practice. i love hearing the music. the other day, ode to joy was being learned, and i almost started crying.

Those things are cool. I'm not saying, BTW that people should encourage the learning of the violin, just that they should know what they're in for.
