If you are in the path or Irma, check in please. Let LIT folks know you're safe.

I'm on the west coast near Daytona some bands coming threw but nothing major yet. Just hope there's no tornado's spawned by Irma.

Wish I was there. I'm one of the idiots who enjoys the thrill of a hurricane.

I'll be thrilled if everything on the property stays intact without damage.

Everything is closed up tighter than a drum. It's going to be a boring day probably. At least until tonight.

Cleanup was always a pain, but the thing I liked less was being without power for 3-5 days at a shot. No AC, and cold water showers. But, that's not much to complain about compared to those who had major property damage. Looks like the Keys are getting hammered right now.

Junior and his bride and menagerie chose to ride it out.

It's picking up but hasn't gotten there yet.

They're on the path . . . .

Boring is good.

The generator is on the porch tuned up and fueled up, gas cans in the garage filled up. It'll power everything but the AC unit. If the power goes it will most likely be out about two to three days. Just depending.

If the house stays intact I don't care about losing AC one iota. Well at least until I'm on the third day or so of it. ;)

Boring is good.

I don't anticipate it to stay that way through the night.

Stay safe, friends. I've been thinking about all of you in Irma's path. Wish you weren't faced with this storm. :rose:
