11:28 on Saturday night and I'm doing well so far.
we have very few
hurricanes
here in the midwest.
it's one of the
few perks.
Here's hoping that remains so.
You & me both. We're forecasted to get the worst of what we're going to get Sunday night into Monday.
stay safe, guys!![]()
As with Texas, I have family and friends in FL. I'm particularly worried about one cousin and their family. I don't want to see any harm come to anyone.
second that, sister!
Where in Florida?
I'm in Orlando and we're supposed to get it tomorrow night into Monday. So for now it's just waiting.
Wish I was there. I'm one of the idiots who enjoys the thrill of a hurricane.
I'll be thrilled if everything on the property stays intact without damage.
Everything is closed up tighter than a drum. It's going to be a boring day probably. At least until tonight.

Cleanup was always a pain, but the thing I liked less was being without power for 3-5 days at a shot. No AC, and cold water showers. But, that's not much to complain about compared to those who had major property damage. Looks like the Keys are getting hammered right now.
Boring is good.
