Islam and democracy are entirely incompatible.

Democracy has it's issues, and kind of a myth in many ways....

But kicks Islam's ass anywhere, anytime.

Plenty of Muslims live in democracies without any problems. Now, the Catholic church doesn't get along so well with the will of the people.

There are about 170 million Muslims living in the world's largest democracy.

Hint: Islam is a religion. NOT a form of government. It's various body of religious law can certainly be adopted by governments wishing to rule as a theocracy, as could a government wishing to adopt a Judaic or Christian body of law to similarly rule.

But generally they don't stand in direct competition with democracy.

I'm afraid they do. :)

Islam stands in direct competition with democracy.

And, Yes, Islam IS a form of government. Everything laid out. It has it's own legal system.

For example. Saudi Arabia, has no constitution. Has no laws, not like we do. they have one legal system called Sharia Law. That is Islam. Sharia law and democracy have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

Muslims can live in a democratic country, coz they have no choice.

Also, they accommodate when they share powers with other religions, but only until they have a majority coz it's their duty to enforce sharia law or they are not true muslims.

I could go on :)

Indonesia is a secular state.

Its roots and influence are Hinduism and Buddhism. But a lots of money is being injected in it to help the locals (lotsa poor) make it Muslim.

Please check your facts. 87% of Indonesia's population are Muslim:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesia

Indonesia is the world's 14th-largest country in terms of land area and world's 7th-largest country in terms of combined sea and land area. It has an estimated population of over 260 million people and is the world's fourth most populous country, the most populous Austronesian nation, as well as the most populous Muslim-majority country.

Here: Indonesia is constitutionally a secular state and the first principle of Indonesia's philosophical foundation, Pancasila, is "belief in the one and only God".

I getting tired of your limited, naive & idiotic replies.

As noted many times, please research and read before replying to me.

Take a very close look at the following image:

https://qph.ec.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-d191f59883d27ad0c3aa4ef69f40d7c5

All of the colored nations are countries where Islam is the majority religion. The dark purple countries are those where Sharia law is applied in full. Those countries in green are those where Sharia plays no role in the criminal justice system. Those in yellow and orange have a mixed application of Sharia to social and/or judicial application. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_of_Islamic_law_by_country

Your premise is therefore shot to hell.

I could go on :)

Of course you could. But why?
