I don't think it is too different than what you are imagining. They are as horrified and disgusted as many in the US. It is generally an international pastime to feel superior to American politics despite any fuckery going on at home (the legality of gay marriage is a thing here now, and look, if you're behind fucking IRELAND on this shit, you're doing something wrong), but this does feel different in that there is a real struggle to understand what happened and what's happening.
